Apple Have Stabbed Me In The Back. [iTunes Deleted Everything, Help Please?]
 

Basically what has happened is, I downloaded like Radio Station Soundtracks of GTA Games and was all excited to put them on my iPod.

So I get ready and put it in the computer and iTunes pops up with NOTHING what so ever on it.

Playlist & Albums
Podcasts
Apps

All Gone.

What could of caused this? I wondered as I listened to Johnny Cash whilst staring into the fog.

Either, It was me when I moved iTunes into a new folder.

Or

It was my Mother being stupid and putting my iPod into her computer for some reason.


Now everything's gone.
I want blood.

But more than that I want my stuff back! Can someone help me out here?

Someone gave me a program that's meant to sync your iPod Touch stuff back onto iTunes easily, but it's asking me to pay 30 Quid for it, so it can do one.

Does anyone know any other methods?

Downloading Big Brother and GTA Vice City for the PC.

But I have to keep taking my cable out to put it into Xbox every day so the downloads keep pausing.

That takes like 30 Seconds at the most to download.

Unless it's a full movie.

Is everything gone off your iPod? Cos if it has then yeah that's your mums fault. Dunno about the files on the computer though.

Nope, the iPod is still in fantastic shape and everything's fine.
If I hit 'Sync' on iTunes though it'll wipe the iPod and destroy everything.

The best way is to hit the screen and bite your mouse.

I done both of those things before on separate occasions, it all ends in tears so I'm not doing it again.

Daft question but have you used the search in windows explorer? Use the name of a song or a file extension you know you had on the computer. But make sure you ask it to check in/for hidden files and folders.

If you have and havent found anything then try using an undelete tool to see if your stuff has been accidentally deleted.

You can backup your ipod with sharepod, I think you can import them back into your itunes aswell?

This kind of works, rather annoying because it puts them all in separate folders and half the album artwork isn't there but it's 100% the best I've seen.

The computer tells me I have a few but they're all those fake Anti-Virus ones that say you do, and then you click 'Help' and then they attach themselves to your computer, so I'm afraid to even look into that.

That not good, what anti virus does it have, does it cover Spyware and Adware?

Not sure, I use Malware Bytes and McAfee Anti Virus.

Mine did it once, I just started again though. Luckily all my music is ripped from CDs and such so i didn't have to buy anything again.

Also I don't get the attraction with Kayla personally, she looks like every other generic blonde bint there's ever been.

And now one playlist is showing up with no artwork at all.
Even though on the ******ing iTunes there is Artwork on every song.

But the iPod isn't showing the artwork at all for this one playlist, and it's the playlist I use most!

Anyone know what's the matter?
Or any methods or things to do to show the Album Artwork and make my iPod bright and wonderful again?

Yeah, It'd probably be alot easier if I had alot of CD Music on iTunes.
