'Like' this please [to help the Japan tsunami cause]

Raph just asked me on MSN for a favour, which was posting this thread. So here's what he asked of you all:

Quote:

A friend of mine is running for a 'pioneer presenter' competition and what she has decided to do is to auction out her winner's prize, if she wins, to raise money for the tsunami victims in japan
http://supercity.mcfly.com/pioneer_p...ate-Manchester

Quote:

so that anyone who has facebook can 'like' the video in the link
So basically, he just wants you to press 'Like' under the video. Thank you :)

Stephanie 15-03-2011 04:58 PM

dun.

Jessica. 15-03-2011 05:00 PM

Done.

Mystic Mock 15-03-2011 05:02 PM

done it.

Rob 15-03-2011 05:04 PM

I'm sorry, but how does liking a video help Japan? If i don't click like, it's not raising any less money.

Raph said 'if she wins (hence having the most likes) she will auction out her role and donate all the money she makes out of it, to Japan.'

arista 15-03-2011 05:10 PM

Money - How

There are loads of Scams
No money can get out there

So Feck Off Jack.

Stephanie 15-03-2011 05:13 PM

all you have to do is like it, not really getting scammed :joker:

Benjamin 15-03-2011 05:15 PM

Basically his friend is in a competition that has nothing to do with the Japan relief, but if she wins, then she'll auction off her prize and donate the money to the Japanese relief.

You are quite right Arista, too many people out there try to scam others with garbage like this. Vote for me etc and i will.....

In other words a friend of a friend of a friend wants to be voted to the top and isnt confident enough to let his or her work stand on its own merits.

All's that I can say is how very convenient of Japan to have an earthquake and tsunami, a heaven sent opportunity to use this disaster to win something.

Its furking sickening to see people use the misery of others to gain for themselves. "If I win I will auction the prize and donate all the money to help the japanese." Yeah right.

Because he's "left". hehe.

Shasown 15-03-2011 05:54 PM

Has anybody actually checked the terms and conditions of the competition to see if its transferrable?

If its not or only participants in the video are eligible to have the prize that would make the promise of auctioning it off meaningless.

arista 15-03-2011 06:04 PM

Scammers can trick millions
and they are doing it now

Stephanie 15-03-2011 06:06 PM

Because it is my opinion that people who promote possible scams are not to be highly regarded? It's an opinion Jack, not a statement of fact.

I think "scam" is a bit strong, people are maybe just a bit sceptical of the girls intentions
