Is it true that if you drop a coin from a tall building it will kill someone if it hits them on the head??

Nah don't think so, it should hit terminal velocity pretty soon so doesn't really matter if it's dropped for 100metres vs miles, it will be traveling roughly the same speed.

Nope, they tested it on mythbusters once, and they said the wind slows it down, so it wouldn't kill a person.

Apparently it wouldn't be traveling fast enough to even break the skin.

It was rumoured that if you drop one from the Eiffel tower it would kill somebody but I'm not sure how true that is. Something bigger would, but I coin is quite light.

im sure it would depend what way the pin would land, as it would swirl in the air.

I think it would hurt obviously,the smallest pebble can hurt if thrown far and strong enough,it really would likely depend where it hit on the head, it may be possible to cause some haemmorhage that could result in being injured or killed as a freak sort of accident.

I'd always thought this was true actually, I've heard that dropping a pea of the Eiffel Tower could kill someone as well but I doubt that
