Would you watch a snuff movie?
Leaving aside how you would acquire it. Just assume that you have a dvd or have the file on your hard drive;
would you actually watch it? VOTE NOW A snuff movie is a motion picture genre that depicts the actual death or murder of a person or people, without the aid of special effects, for the express purpose of distribution and entertainment or financial exploitation. For-profit snuff films are generally regarded as an urban legend, whose persistence demonstrates more about our anxieties than the reality of such films being made. Some filmed records of executions and murders exist but have not been made or released for commercial purposes. |
No.
|
Yeah, out of curiosity, if I have just happened to acquired it already it isnt like I'm putting money in the producers hands just by watching it
|
God no. I can barely handle a horror film. D;
|
No, I heard about that 3 guys one hammer thing and just the details made me feel sick, how anyone could watch it ;/
|
No I wouldn't.
|
Nope, I won't even watch those youtube type vids of people dying or getting badly hurt.
|
No definitely not! I don't really understand how someone could tbh
|
Im not sure I could. It may stick in my head.
Last year my mate had these horror files that were of real nasty stuff like accidents. He had a very short(like 30 secs) file supposedly depicting a Russian beheading. I couldnt face the screen and had him describe what was happening instead! he's from Lithuania so could understand Russian. He said it was very real. Gulp! |

Can't remember the guysname, but there was a British hostage being held in Iraq (may have been Afghan) and they eventually filmed him being beheaded with rather a blunt knife.. It was all over the internet ad I never understood how people could watch it?!
Surely that kind of **** could affect you for the rest of your life?? |

I recently found a site that has lots of GIFs of people having nasty accidents or shooting themselves in the head!
You have to grab them fast as they get removed quick! |

I honestly don't know... maybe. It would have to be with someone else and not be a really nasty scene...

I might watch it with squinted eyes. Thats a good trick to soften the effect. But if they were screaming or crying...forget it!
|
I remember there was a thread a couple of weeks ago of really sick accidents and stuff and one was a clip of a guy shooting himself in the head in the police interview room, it is pretty weird knowing you just watched someone end their life. There's that clip of Saddam Hussein getting hung as well, that's all over the web

One full video was leaked to the Internet, showing the murder of 48-year-old Sergei Yatzenko. He is seen laying on his back in a wooded area, and is struck repeatedly in the face with a hammer held inside a plastic bag. One of the attackers pokes out Yatzenko's eyes, and stabs him in the abdomen with a screwdriver. Yatzenko is then struck with the hammer in order to ensure that he is dead. The attack lasts over four minutes, during which the victim lapses in and out of consciousness. One of the murderers can be seen smiling towards the camera during the video.[39] The murderers walk back to their car, showing that the crime took place only a few feet away from the side of a road, next to their parked car. They discuss the murder calmly, expressing mild surprise that the victim was still breathing after a screwdriver was plunged into his exposed brain. The suspects then wash their hands and the hammer with a water bottle, and begin to laugh. Only two suspects appear to be present in the video, with one always behind the camera It's fucked up |
Jesus! I couldn't watch that!^
Oh god.. the eye bit! -leaves thread for fear of having nightmares!- |
The Kate Beckinsale film Vacancy is about snuff films
Good film although it gets a bit silly towards the end. |
