(Stupid) Things you've done to satisfy your curiosity
 

If you've done anything stupid just because you wondered about something. What was it? :)

My worst has got to be...I was very very drunk, and me and my mate were having an argument about this piece of glass...I didnt think it looked sharp, and she did. So to prove that it wasnt sharp...I ran it over my hand. Cue a LOT of blood, gashed hand, tendons showing (:eek: ) me nearly killing an old lady of fright...turning up at her door covered in blood asking for a teatowel...and a night in A&E f/

Next morning had a very angry father, but I got a day off school. My scar is awful though :/

I was on holiday once and I was having a shower and I was stood there looking at the pole that held the shower curtain, and wondered whether it could hold my weight. I tried, the pole and shower curtain collapsed and I fell spread eagled on the bathroom floor with a nasty pain in my side after I smashed it on the bath.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Seeing if a dog was vicious or not. It was. It hurt and so did the hospital's work and jabs

Ugh this one time when I was 5 I was playing in the garden and I picked up this bucket only, to have an angry wasp fly out and sting me on the hand. e_e

Thanks to that little fucker I now have an really bad phobia of bees/wasps. :'(

When I was taken with the School to learn to swim, I jumped in the deep end to see if it really was deep,I was rather stunned to find it was.

P!ssed on a plug socket. No, not really.

I watched the Star Wars films. Does that count?

I tasted banana shampoo to see if it tasted as good as it smelt (and I wasn't a kid at the time...)
It didn't!

My mate did this when he was about 9 with a blueberry scented gel pen. He sucked on the end of it and it squirted all over his face. One of the funniest things I've seen.

Slice a knife down my hand, I wanted to see if it would Bleed alot or not.

Come to think of it the other day I went for lunch with a friend by the river. I was curious whether to try the Salsa dip but I'm hesitant because it reminded me of ketchup (which I have a phobia of). I dunked the burger in the dip and bravely took a bite but I then gagged and started going teary eyed :(

When I was about 12/13 I tried putting as many biscuits in my mouth as possible and chewing them. The dust crumbs hit the back of my throat so I started choking and I coughed/sprayed out all the dry biscuit into my friends face and all over my mums brand new white angora rug (which is a bitch to get anything out of). She went mad for not respecting the new rug and for wasting food, lol.

Oh, I also once stuck my finger in a mouse trap to see how bad it hurt. It ****ing hurts, but luckily it was slightly broken or my finger would have been in a lot more pain, and pieces.

When I was 7 we had a blind man come into school to talk to us and show us all the gadgets he used. When I got home I pretended to be blind and walked around the house with my eyes shut, tripped over the vaccum cleaner and broke my finger....

Had a threesome when I was about 19 with my pal with a 50 odd year old woman.

I was bored many years ago working in a finance office .. for some reason I was left alone in the main office and I started doing standing jumps up on to various chairs .. getting slightly higher and higher

All that was left to conquer was the main counter , solid oak - and about 3’ or a metre high … anyways I didn’t make it and landed on my shins .. then writhed in silent agony on the floor for a few minutes..



On another occasion over the countryside I tried taking a running jump across a steep , wall sided canal .


… didn’t quite make it and hit the other side and slid down slowly .. into the canal ..
