Do you buy clothes from secondhand/charity shops?
I do!
where I live there's loads of good ones. Find some real quality clothes there for literally a few pounds. I found my fave pair of Diesel trainers in Oxfam for £9(almost good as new). Some people are funny about wearing secondhand stuff. My best mate shudders at the thought. But I like to mix n match between secondhand/high street/designer. The great thing about charity shops is that you find original and cheap items that nobody else is likely to be wearing. Everytime I buy from places like H&M I always see others wearing it and it just puts me off wearing it again. So yeah, charity shops are amazing. Do you buy from secondhand shops? VOTE NOW |
Sometimes, so I guess that's a yes :D
|
No, I would never.
|
It's probably the only thing I wouldn't buy from there...it's probably an irrational thing on my part, but whatever. I need to buy books and stuff from there more often.

I had a clearout a few months ago. Then when I went into the store a week later it was like walking into my own huge closet; I could see all my stuff on the rails! |
Yeah I'm fine with it. Washing machines are awful powerful. I feel fine wearing others clothes after they have been churned around in circles in alternating temperatures of water and suds for four hours.
|
Some clothes actually look better well worn. :)
not underwear obviously |
No, I dont, my sister does though and I hate going shopping with her because I end up having to wait outside the charity shop forever for her.

I don't, but don't really see a problem with it. I'm sure there's a lot of quality stuff that's hardly been worn.
I think I would be a bit icky about second hand shoes though.. |

I don't. D:
My Nan loves the charity shop though, like almost her entire wardrobe is from there. O_o |
Nope.. It's hard to find stuff for a 16 year old male in there which is generally why..
|

they get so violent and aggressive when they sniff a bargain! |
I don't have enough patience to try finding one good piece of clothing mixed with loads of bad clothing. :L

-likes Primark :p-
I find the women's section to be messier than the men's. Which is annoying when I'm dressing for Friday night work. :/ |

Niall shops at Primark, Niall shops at Primark!!! |
Nah, most of the time they only sell stuff that older people would wear.

Primark just sells cheap ****. H&M's okay though.
|
No I dont, I do sometimes go to Primark but only if I need clothes for a one-off occasion or something
|
Wow only 3 votes for yes
you don't know the bargains youre missing, seriously. Cool vintage wear, designer labels, expensive leatherwear.....its all there! oh well, more for me. All the trendy supermodels and celebs sniff around charity shops to find original clothes. I stood next to Kylie in one about 5 years ago in the Kings road. |
Nope, never. The second hand shop closest to me is full of granny **** and teddys.
+ This thread reminds me of the Little Britain episode in the charity shop 'Do you know if anyone died in these clothes' :L |
