Will Cheryl Return to X Factor UK

Yes? No? Not bothered?

Locke. 27-05-2011 12:02 AM

Hopefully

I'm sure Cheryl has a lot of friends in the show. And I guess it would mean that Tulisa is out of a job if she does want her old position back. That seems really unfair to me.

Kerry 27-05-2011 01:01 AM

Not fussed. I smell a publicity stunt

Callum 27-05-2011 01:22 AM

Doubt it after she's been so publicly humilated

Until the "Simon demands Cheryl for X Factor UK" headline

Jordan. 27-05-2011 07:31 AM

I hope she doesn't will prove a point to Cowell that he can't get everything he wants. :nono:

Hope not.

I think she will, but i think she should have a bit of pride if she really did get sacked and not run back to the Xfactor UK

joeysteele 27-05-2011 08:25 AM

I voted no but out of hope that she won't, she totally ruined X Factor last year with her tantrums and daft choices so if she really is annoyed at Cowell, she wouldn't return, also after leaving it to be on the USA one,she should not be allowed back on it.
I certainly don't want to see her on it again. Never liked her on it in the first place.

cub 27-05-2011 10:26 AM

If she comes back she's going to look a failure and her heart really won't be in it after a taste of the bright lights of the US.

If she doesn't return she's lost a good platform to showcase and promote her music.

Her US career is effectively over before it has started. How odd Nadine should announce her new US single on this very day.

X Factor US's future looks a bit damaged now. The X Factor UK is a bit of a mess.

Gary Barlow must be wondering what he's let himself in for.

I think, as I've said before, the X Factor (UK and US) is gonna be a car crash.

Pass the popcorn.

LaLaLand 27-05-2011 10:29 AM

Hopefully not, can't bare her.

I do think that this will be the last series of TXF here and we'll see it being replaced with "The Voice" next year which is a huge hit in America.

Yep, I agree with this. Cheryl lost her popularity last year, this could be a nice sympathy earner for her and publicity for the show in general. No publicity is bad publicity and all that:rolleyes:

cub 27-05-2011 10:49 AM

It would be the worst and cruellest publicity stunt ever, were this true. And it isn't.

Rather than boost her popularity, it makes her look weak and a failure.

It's a complete shambles. The X Factor, as we knew it, is over.

Steve Brookstein must be in heaven.

Well, I think the only way for her to regain the popularity she once had in the UK is for her to be humbled in public and brought back down to earth, I think that's why people started to dislike her last year because she was coming across too cocky and too big for her boots, so if you think of it like that it'd be the perfect way for her to become the nations sweetheart once again, especially since Dannii is out of the picture now too.

Hmmm, but I don't think this makes her seem any more likable though. I'd be more inclined to agree with you if she hadn't made the final judging line up. The timing is wrong for it to be set-up, plus all the expense, time and effort.

Why involve the Americans, just to be more popular in the UK?

The UK judges were set. Simon was concentrating on the US. Now he's being distracted by 'Cherylgate'. He wouldn't have orchestrated that.

The thing is this: there has been so many spins and publicity stunts that - it's like 'the boy who cried wolf' - no-one knows what to believe, what's real and what's set up and fake.

I think this is a real situation, but I can understand people thinking it's more smoke and mirrors courtesy of Simon Cowell.

That's so true and it's getting really annoying as well, tbh I've stopped reading magazines or most celebrity stories anymore because I just think everything is made up tripe these days!

I agree, although she would never be a favourite of mine at all I think you are spot on.

I think a growing number of people feel like that. You never know, perhaps this era of 'zeelebrity' has peaked.

yeah, me neither but there's no doubt that she was the golden girl there for a while!

cub 28-05-2011 09:31 AM

I have a strong feeling they will let her have a year off, now the UK judges are in place and all but announced, and Cheryl will return in a year to replace either Tulisa and Kelly.

I have a feeling Gary Barlow has regrets and may leave. Simon and Cheryl could return next year. And they may even ask Dannii back.

Actually the story doesn't make sense. How can she be axed from X Factor UK if she's snubbing Simon Cowell? Surely by snubbing him she's opted out of the show herself?

Doogle 28-05-2011 10:58 PM

She should just go away for a year. :bored:

More Simple she did not sign the contract in time
places are taken.

When did she ever say she wanted to come back the UK XF or snub Simon? No one has heard from her in days.

The press are such knobs.

happybbfan 29-05-2011 09:22 AM

Cheryl, word of advice stick to the singing.

cub 29-05-2011 09:46 AM

I don't think she wanted her job back anyway. She looked a bit fed up last year.

I honestly think her life would make an interesting movie. Working class beginnings, talent show contestant, toilet attendant scandal, huge pop career, celebrity wedding, X Factor success, solo career, divorce, malaria and close to death, most talked about celebrity in the UK, 'beard' for US dancer (rumoured), X Factor USA, massive fall. Wow, what will happen next? Jordan can only DREAM of such a storyline.

She should reform Girls Aloud for their anniversary next year. I keep saying this.
