Channel 5 is playing the theme tune on oktv.

someone better upload a vid of this after, can't get to a TV right now.

Peter Dyke seems to think it's pink and blue. I think that's what he's hinting at. :shocked:

Seems he was just assuming, though the fact that they played it on OKTV! without any channel 4 caption says that it isn't a rigts issue if they do change it.

But isn't the track owned by Paul Oakenfold, and not Channel 4?

Rights are owned by the label not the singer and the song was comissioned especially for the show by C4 so they will have wanted all rights to it.

So does this mean channel 5 wouldn't be able to use it with out channel 4 saying they can?

Think so. Don't know if they need permission or just to pay royalties when it's used as a theme tune.

Just watched it back, that mix of the theme sounds different to all the ones I've heard, perhaps it's just been remixed?

Theme Tune Kept?
 

The theme tune in the advert is the same as C4's but jazzed up a bit. And also at the start of Brians interview yesterday on OK!TV, they played the theme tune which was again jazzed up a bit. I hope this will be the official one as it sound really good!
