What the longest time -
 

- you have queued for anything? Tickets, a place, a book, game etc. Have you ever camped out in a queue for example? You know, like those on the news who sit for 3 days on the streets for the Royal Wedding or tickets to see Donny Osmond

I think I've spent more time in the que at primark than I have actually shopping in primark.. they're always so massive!

2 hour queue in Game once. For a ****ing Sims stuff pack that wasn't even new. But it's the ONLY place that sold it. :bored:

Alton Towers rides. What a joke that place is

About 2 hours to get on some ride in Alton Towers.. it kept breaking down while we were waiting. Was all over an hour late back for the coach back to college.

Wow, I don't think I'd stay in a queue if I knew I was going to be more than about 20 minutes. 2 hours? I think I'd have died of boredom.

For me, it's the London Dungeons.

No, college. We went every year with school aswell, but we went on the last day of college last year.

6 hours for tickets to Eminem in 2006, got in the paper and all for being first in line to get tickets......3 weeks later he went to Rehab and cancelled it :(

I've queued for rides before. I wonder if anyone here has camped out to wait for anything

I queued for hours to get Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows books but I think my longest ever wait was something like 4 hours at the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride in Florida, it broke down like twice so we had to wait ages in the blistering heat.

I waited for less than an hour to get on that. theres so much you have to walk around though

never in a rush to get anything, just wait for it to get cheaper/get it online

I wouldn't mind queuing for rides if they have things to do/look at while you wait like in Legoland :joker:

Yeah I went it on again and there was like no wait, so much easier and the single riders queue goes even faster. I didn't mind waiting that much though actually because there's so much to see in the queue, it's like an attraction in itself.

I finally got to see him live 4 years later than originally planned :hugesmile:

Last time I went to Alton Towers it was pretty quiet. Think the longest wait was 20 minutes for the Nemesis so I went on twice :D

Once waited three hours to get on Air at Alton Towers. The sign said it was only 40 minutes and we ended up being really late for the coach. Luckily, there was about 30 of us so we didn't actually get in that much trouble.

I bought the last three Harry Potter books at midnight too, I think they were about an hour and half wait each.

I think the longest I have been in a queue was for the London Eye,I think we were in the queue for tickets and then to get on for about an hour and a half.

Three and a half hours at thorpe park for Saw: The Ride when it first opened. Was not worth it.

yeah we kinda had to rush past it all. its annoying cause the amount we waited, we would be outside in the heat, but when we walked, we had to go past all the interesting stuff

Longest I've queued for TT is 11 hours, did that twice. Also did two 10 hour stints, a 8 and a 4.

Hours for Air at Alton Towers. What a brilliant place that is! :worship:

But, come on: is a five-minute ride worth a three-hour wait?

To get on Rita Queen Of Speed (as it was known then) at Alton Towers. It started taking off backwards just as we got to the front of the queue. I cant remember how long we waited but we eventually gave up and left

Theme park queues are the WORST, because in the end you queue for ~2 hours for something that last 2 minutes, crazy!

Ugh hell no. I don't have the patience for queues. Any longer than 10 minutes and I start fantasizing about killing everybody in front of me.

2 hours for the new Toy Story ride in Disney, however it's not as bad queuing over there and they have activities going on during the queue.

We going over to Universal in a couple of weeks to go on the new Harry Potter rides and I'm expecting longs queues.

1 hour for the Safari Ride in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Florida. :joker:

Like others have said Alton Towers, Think it was about 2 hours queing for Air & this was on a week day during school times :bored:

Especially when the rides last way shorter than a minute most of the time. piss take

Longest I've queued for a ride is about 90 mins for Th13teen at Alton Towers. Wasn't worth it. I never queue longer that 30 mins for a ride now, I just use the single rider queue. :)
