Getting Darker Earlier!

does this excite anyone else? I love dark nights

Firewire 12-08-2011 08:16 PM

I hate dark nights.

Marsh. 12-08-2011 08:16 PM

Roll on winter. Love it.

Boothy 12-08-2011 08:17 PM

Dark nights are infinitely better than light nights. It's dark already here.

Jordan. 12-08-2011 08:18 PM

I noticed :amazed:

CharlieO 12-08-2011 08:18 PM

I love dark nights. Makes me feel at home because it got dark at 7:30 on the dot every night in Sing. :amazed:

Ninastar 12-08-2011 08:19 PM

when it gets dark like at 5

I cant wait because I will have a car then and I will be like this time last year I would have had to walked, and I can laugh at the younger people who cant drive yet

GypsyGoth 12-08-2011 08:27 PM

Dark nights

Stu 12-08-2011 08:28 PM

I love it. Makes me feel like planning my christmas shopping, getting a few cans, and watching a bit of 'rasslin.

Patrick 12-08-2011 08:31 PM

It's depressing because it's still Summer. :bored:

It's only good in September because then it's kinda cosy and stuff when you get in from school - it shouldn't feel like Winter/Autumn right now it should feel like it did in early July. :bored:

Like a Boss.

Maia 12-08-2011 08:37 PM

I love and don't love it - I love that you know winter's on it's way, and it's just so cosy when it's dark so early, but I couldn't go down the road right now to take a picture of the BB billboard like I could've a couple of months ago

InOne 12-08-2011 08:38 PM

I don't mind it :amazed:

It's better than it being light until like 9ish, it gets annoying

seanraff07 12-08-2011 08:39 PM

It's alright. I think in about a months time I'll really be glad it's getting darker earlier, I get the same feeling when it's been dark nights for ages then it starts to get brighter.

Boothy 12-08-2011 08:44 PM

Ahh man. This thread making me want it to be winter.

Best feeling ever - Walking about of the football ground and back to the train station on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon in December when it's dark at 4.45, shivering slightly in a parka after winning the match.

Beastie 12-08-2011 09:12 PM

Ahh can't wait for early dark nights.

Plus BB evictions will get to the dark nights again.

Remember last year when Davina was talking and it was still bloody light!! A lot better when darker! :)

CharlieO 12-08-2011 09:14 PM

Beastie what a legend in your avatar

BigBrotherfan4ever 12-08-2011 09:20 PM

Hate the dark night's & absolutely hate the winter.

Love the feeling man!

Only on a Saturday afternoon though, Sunday games are the worst.

sooty 12-08-2011 09:31 PM

Yes I noticed. It is so sad. And it is only August!:bawling:

Ninastar 12-08-2011 09:36 PM

we should all do some christmas shopping

-holds hands-

Harry! 12-08-2011 09:38 PM

I love dark nights :). I hate light nights. It makes me feel so cosy in the winter when it is nice and dark. I am already quite exicted about christmas already!

Haha! Thanks :D

I love Judi James and when she gives psychological analysis of the housemates on BBLB. Yes I know a lot of these psychological analysis are what we already know or just common sense but I find her articulate and I just love hearing what she has to say!

I hope she makes a regular occurance on BBBOTS!! Rather than the lights of Josie ****in Gibson performing some cheap tacky gimmicks for the show.....

I bet the first thing I will buy is my advent calendar which I will purchase in November. I usually treat myself to a Thorntons one

Harry! 12-08-2011 09:40 PM

I HATE dark mornings though - That is one thing I am dreading! Getting up on a dark morning is no fun at all.

Ninastar 12-08-2011 09:41 PM

I didn't have an advert calender last year :bawling:

Im gunna get 2 this year to make up for it

Eww I used to hate that. But thank god I don't start work until the afternoon so I will actually see some daylight!!

It was horrid last year though when I had a different shift.. being at work for 5am. I had to go outside and start my car up in the freezing cold to defrost ice on my car.. go back in for 10 or so minutes. Get a quick cuppa and that.. and then come back outside again in the freezing cold.. driving slow to work on the icey roads!! Brrrrrrrrr!

It's fun near Christmas.

But I love it in May and April when it's so bright in the mornings and it's all like :amazed:.

Just thinking, we had better weather in April than we did in July and August!

And in 2010 we had AMAZING weather in May and then in Summer it was meh.

Shaun 12-08-2011 10:19 PM

Autumn is my favourite season.

Well I mean I don't want it to finish. I'm terrified of getting my GCSE results and everything. :bawling:

Yeah, Sunday games ruin football for me.

I get back home and realise I've got college in the morning.

A perfect weekend for me is a game on the Saturday, Match of the Day on the night and a big lie in on Sunday.
