Hearing rumbles of vote to save

Again, I'm not sure/don't care if any of you believe me, but I'm just putting this out there.

I've been told that it's vote to save this year, which I think you all will be pleased about :)

Jordan. 12-08-2011 11:05 PM

please be true :amazed:

BBDodge 12-08-2011 11:06 PM

Would make it a more predicitable show, like IACGMOH.

Maia 12-08-2011 11:06 PM

Hope it is!

It would keep the more entertaining people in. Unless you want 8 rachel rices' in the show's final weeks.

joeysteele 12-08-2011 11:15 PM

I definately would prefer vote to save, far better.

You're probably the ONLY person that would still want a Vote To Evict - I mean c'mon didn't we all learn after BB9's final and BB11's Quadruple?

:bored:

Excellent news.

Only at the start

Imagine last year: John James, Josie, Corin, Sam. In a vote to save? Far more exciting.

LaLaLand 12-08-2011 11:21 PM

This can only be a good thing!

Bubba 12-08-2011 11:23 PM

Maybe having 2 votes- one to save and one to evict, then taking the cumulative votes for each HM to see weather they go or stay.:wavey:

Maia 12-08-2011 11:24 PM

Still can't get over how we were robbed of BB11's final being one of the most exciting ones ever all because of that silly vote to evict quadruple eviction. Things like that must not happen again.

It's only because that wanker Phil Edgar Jones knew he wasn't coming back in future if BB returned or not so he was like 'LOL WHAT THE HEY LET'S JUST RUIN AN AMAZING FINAL '

The Quadruple was announced on their tacky poorly edited C4 site.

And everyone on here and DigitalSpy kept saying 'It better not be a V.T.E' and Phil Edgar Jones obviously reads the forums whether he said so or not - so what does he do?

Makes it a Vote to Evict. :bored:

The guy was a first class Bellend.

billy123 12-08-2011 11:32 PM

Nope i dont like the idea of it.
Too predictable it takes away the element of the underdog standing a chance and thats one of the things thats made bb a success. the underdogs go early before having a chance to change peoples minds about them it would be dumbing down for bb predictable and boring thats what you get with vote to save.

People like marcus bb10 would never have survived people didnt like him at the start he came across as arrogant until you got to know his character nobody would have voted to save him early on.

same goes for:
science
nasty nick
victor
jason

the list goes on all legends that never would have happened with vote to save.

I voted for Rachel loads. And that was a positive vote in the final.

And they did all they could to make BB on C5 a non-starter with putting a prog on C4 at the same time time CBB was due to air. Luckily C5 altered the start date to get round this. C4 will do owt to stop it being a success on C5. C4 stinks these days and will be topped by C5 as long as they keep listening to their readers on forums and and media websites.

It was the quad eviction to hasten the launch of UBB that stuffed up the final week of BB11, not vote to evict.

armand.kay 13-08-2011 12:07 AM

and why did they do that free pass to the final crap c4 wanted josie to win they edit her to look like a angle when she was a two faced bitch and she showd her true fam ***** self the second she left the house, they did the free pass because they new josie would be picked then in the quad eviction they din't do VTS to get rid of her compertition leaving use with a crap final !! :idc:

Didnt they use the free pass thing in the hijack show?
Quite impressive really they picked the winner before the launch show had even finished.

It has to be Vote to Save. Its the only logical way to go with the voting system. It should of been implemented years ago.

Sophiee 13-08-2011 03:51 AM

hopefully this is true!

Chuck 13-08-2011 03:57 AM

I wish this had happened years ago but I guess it's never too late to change. :L

-thinks of Corin and sobs-

I agree, I’ve thought this for a long time and everyone votes for different reasons and we don't all want the same type of winner, by using this method it would be more balanced because-
With the save, the more controversial livelier characters have more chance of remaining leaving quieter ones vulnerable. But on the other hand with a vote to evict, the quieter ones are usually ‘nicer’ characters and have (going by record if they make it to the final) a bigger chance of winning. Reduce the voting cost so that people are more inclined to vote both ways. Everyone's happy :D

This.

Shaun 13-08-2011 05:18 AM

it's not a perfect system but it's better than the current one

Saph 13-08-2011 09:29 AM

After last years horrible finale this is great news :D

georgehudson 13-08-2011 10:14 AM

Brilliant news. However, I hope the results are still announced like they used to be, not "the first person safe is..."

You do have somewhat of a point :suspect:.
I only agree because you mentioned Victor, Jason and Marcus.

I hope they do the 'The first person safe, IS..' thing if there's more than 4 people up.

It was so tense, when they do it on IAC it's like :bawling: because it's quite scary.

I remember when they did it last year briefly and they said Shabby was safe and Caoimhe and Sunshine weren't and I was like 'OMG YES!' and started yelling everywhere, I was so into BB11 for the first few weeks LOL.
