Series 1 averages around 800,000-900,000 viewers per episode but all of Series 2 got over 1 million, with it going up to 1.8m sometimes.

That was because the 2nd show was on the Wednesday after the Sunday which hardly anyone knew. The ratings have grown for season 2 anyway so your point is mute.

If this is true I am probably not going to watch.

This is why live feed has been scrapped. So they can give the housemates lines in the DR.

BB's been "scripted" for years, at least since Goody got her "personality make-over" in the Diary Room in BB3..... :bored:

Pete Bennett was "coached" by Endemol for 3 years before making his winning "pratfall" entrance in BB7 ..... :rolleyes:

Cameron Stout was almost choreographed through his BB4, including the notorious "lucky" call to the Diary Room where he got his trip to Africa ..... :hmph:

And so on .....

The "contrivances" became increasingly obvious and absurd up to the ridiculous BB11 Josie "The Thumb-Sucking Ever-Expanding Great White Whale" Gibson win ..... :eek:

Totally agree, if it's going to be like TOWIE, i will switch off, cant stand that programe.

BB has always been scripted to a certain extent after the first two UK BBs. Why should the next one be any different? apart from they will want their celebs who frequent their mags OK, and such, to do well, hence I reckon why there is no live feed to hinder the expected outcome. The show has now become and will continue to be a load of rollox to continue to manipulate the viewing/paying public, imho. But if the majority of the viewing public are ok with that then fair enough.

I really hope he's having us on. TOWIE is brilliant... But TOWIE is TOWIE, and Big Brother is Big Brother. Keep it that way!

Channel 5 really seem to love TOWIE, it seems like there is always someone from the show as a guest on OK TV! I really hope this isn't true.

I asked him about the Live Feed before, and he said it was coming back, but look at how that turned out...
