Producers go back on their decision to broadcast LIVE on Thursday?
 

Okay so I just checked Sky TV Guide and noticed something:

'Celebrity Big Brother: Launch'

That said 'Live Launch' the other day - infact look at this picture I took on Friday:

Notice the 'LIVE' Launch part?

Something's not right.
I thought this year's show was going to be completely live like in 2006?

What has happened?
They wouldn't just randomly take that out of the title - and then skip 24 Hours to Friday the 18th and we get:

'Celebrity Big Brother Live'

Which is obviously that twist that people are going on about - and I've noticed the lazy bastards are using the Launch Show description information - for the highlight shows aswell. :bored:

That's funny :S as my Freeview box and Sky+ Box says Live Launch, that's really weird :S

Just say's launch on mine. Probably trying to keep us guessing (again)

all tv has a delay even after 9 anyways

I do not mind if the live shows have a delay because I will avoid the forum until after each episode airs to discuss. :)

Come on guys...it's no way as simple as C5 going "Ok we want to do it live so we are going to do it live."

There are massive considerations to take place - council restrictions (they are only allowed to make a lot of noise between set times), crowd considerations (if the show ends so late that if it were live the crowd couldn't get home easily - hence why the evictions aren't live) etc.

It just says "Launch" on my Freeview+ HD box EPG too. How peculiar! Something must have happened to cause such a change.

But the adverts are saying LIVE launch at 9PM on C5 :/

I don't really mind as long as the eviction are live :idc:

But didn't the show only use to last an hour to 1hr 15mins? Or take place on a Friday when the hours are extended? 9-10:15pm on a Friday can be live, whereas 9-10:30pm on a Thursday might have different rules.

It's being debated because of legal issues with council etc. But at most there'll be a 15 min delay. But I have no definite news.
15 min delay is better than a 45 min one like last year :D

As long as it's no more than 15 minutes that's fine.

I think it's SO important for the Launch, Evictions, Special Live Shows, and Final to be LIVE.

That is good news! I hated last year that the names and that were being released way before they appeared on screen.

Even if something happens live like Pamela Anderson falls up the stairs and pops a boob, Channel 5 arnt exactly the sort of channel to cut that out lol :P

I don't really mind if it's 5 minutes or so behind being Live, just no longer :S Dosen't really affect me.

5 minutes delay? Not bothered by that at all, what I would be bothered by was if all "live" shows were broadcast on a 40 minute delay like some of last year's evictions were.

I'd rather have a delay than a 'scripted' house. Endemol will already know who is evicted anyway. They will make the housemates nominate who they want out and I even doubt they will listen to the public vote anymore.

I highly doubt anything about Big Brother will be natural anymore.
