Is she not allowed to make her own decisions then?
|
Don't think she would really care :joker:

That would be one of the most stupid reasons for a divorce. I think that's a load of nonsense. He will not always be Speaker, he chose Sally from all the women he knew to be a lifelong partner.
I just cannot see that happening and in any event she hasn't been in any way controversial at all, ...well yet anyway. |
So, he's stuck with her through her drink problem and that embarrassing picture with the bed-sheet but wants to end their marriage over a programme on the TV (on which she's kept her clothes on so far)...
Sounds a bit far fetched for me. |
If thats true then he doesnt love her very much.
|
Bit of a silly reason for a divorce.

he'd get more slack for divorcing her after shes gone in cbb then letting her go in cbb in the first place

Remember CBB5? That didn't do much good for Goody or her family, including the boys ..... |
Hopefully they tell her this and she walks so there is no eviction this week :idc:

If this is true, what a knob. Oh so his wife is not allowed to be independent and speak her mind. He has to abide by the rules of the HOP but that doesn't mean she has to.
Her VT was class:D. |

But even having said that, I agree with you in that I think the news article is a load of nonsense. |
"He has lost weight and gone greyer."
Bitch cant lose that much weight in like 3 days :/ he needs to get a couple of strippers, order a pizza and shut the **** up. |

Her husband has known her that long to know what she is like and he obviously loves her so would be stupid to divorce her over a TV show, but no doubt it must be slightly embarrassing when people mention it. |
I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you all... In my opinion, the wife of the speaker of the House of Commons should conduct herself in an appropriate manner and unfortunately she doesn't. I though she made a fool of herself, her husband and of her marriage when she laughed at the fact that he had asked her not to do BB, but she had done it anyway.
I found her VT embarrassing: She actually came across as resentful towards her husband, almost mocking him. Divorce wouldn't surprise me to be honest, they obviously aren't that a close couple. |

that would be the most silly reason for a divorce. she's allowed to make her own decisions, he isn't the boss of her.

Probably not true anyway.

With 'friends' like that, who needs enemies?
I'd be furious if any of my 'friends' discussed my marriage publically.:nono: |
Way to go, John... :/

As for going greyer - Is that even possible? |

The man knew her before he proposed to her. The idea that she should become some trophy wife for him and the sake of his career is sooo 1950's. Some people seem to have forgotten the women's liberation movement. |

I'll bet if it had been a male on national television saying his wife had begged him not to do something for the sake of her profession but he did it anyway, everybody would be like "what a tosser" especially these women's lib types. |

I disagree. They'd call the wife a controlling shrew. |
he's gone all grey and aged? LOL

She's not only famous for being married to an MP. How many other MP's wives or husbands can you name off the top of your head? Not very many i suspect.
