Brilliant final 15 mins tonight... what BB should be about!

I loved the last section of the show!

Tara is proving to be a brilliant housemate!! I love the general talking about the game. Just what BB used to be about back in the day, there was no "I'm not playing a game". Things will get interesting and Tara will be the centre of most of the trouble that will arise.

CharlieO 21-08-2011 10:14 PM

She saved tonights show. The whole programme should be serious like that, lets hope channel 5 take note.

Zippy 21-08-2011 10:15 PM

well theyve never been allowed to talk tactics directly

Personally Ive always felt they should. It makes great TV.

Lewis. 21-08-2011 10:16 PM

I'm glad they've gotten rid of the nominations discussion rule - makes it a much more interesting programme to watch when they are talking tactics. Tara has become my favourite after tonight.

No No No

As a watcher of BBUS I can tell you know the seriousness can do your head (and that only airs 3 nights). BBUK has always been great for its wackyness, it needs a mixture.

true. all they do is discuss tactics like its a military operation.

but certainly on CBB it will work well

Lisa! 21-08-2011 10:19 PM

Totally agree

Jase. 21-08-2011 10:20 PM

Great show tonight!

I mean like without the montages, Marcus' jokes and bad editing. I don't want tactics the whole time, but not Jedward the whole time.

Jordan. 21-08-2011 10:24 PM

Agreed no gimmicks just straight classic BB.

Yes! I loved it! That's why we need housemates like Tara, so then the producers are able to make it more serious as they will be given the material.

BJ 21-08-2011 10:26 PM

more game playing and less Jedward. I really enjoyed the show tonight

They were allowed in BBUK9 (nominations pod) and BBUK10 the last month they were allowed to talk about nominations freely.

ABigbother 21-08-2011 10:51 PM

I didn't know they were aloud to discuss nominations.

During Kerry's task, BB said "we will suspend the rule about not discussing it until further notice"

Patrick 21-08-2011 11:10 PM

Loved it, so game playing.

Cromwell1900 21-08-2011 11:17 PM

I Agree this years show is great to watch, i don't remember seeing them having so much fun previously.

As for discussing noms, C5 are seing how it plays out, if Dark things start to happen because of it, they will slap a ban down quick. I never took to the American BB because it was all about Allies and Enemies. Imo us Brits are less competative and know where to draw the line. I'll eat my words if i see Jedward conspiring to oust someone though.

Sophiee 21-08-2011 11:50 PM

I thought it was very good, the best part of the hl show. I'd prefer all of the hl show to be like that.

joeysteele 21-08-2011 11:58 PM

I think all of tonights highlights show was really good, well varied, we saw a lot of all the housemates and it was like the earlier BBs,I never moved all the time it was on it was so good tonight.

I liked the input and editing of all the housemates though, not just one.

But they have before, and it has made decent TV before. Nothing new whatsoever.

bbfan1991 22-08-2011 12:04 AM

Talking tactics about nominations with others is genius, but would also miss the secretive nature of the normal procedure because some hm used to backstab each other.

With this new thing they could promise to nominate someone and go for someone else instead...

starry 22-08-2011 12:07 AM

It's not a new thing.

DanielLuis 22-08-2011 12:23 AM

I know right! I hope they keep the rules suspended forever! Tara has really grown on me I used to think she was weird but now I absolutely love her!

Tony1111 22-08-2011 12:29 AM

Tonights show was almost perfect. Too much focus on fauxmance and that montage at the start and the flashbacks. But Marcus was back to normal and there wasn't as much editing. :)

Colbert-Bump 22-08-2011 12:50 AM

Jedward have more balls than Lucien & Bobby who only talk about people behind their backs. Tara is a confused LA airhead, she's gonna be a great housemate.

Tara doesn't seem confused at all to me, she SOUNDS confused, but she seems like the most perceptive person in the house, she seems like the only one that's actually looking at the bigger picture.

Her hatred for Darryn is way over the top but I love a schemer in the BB house, I hope she kicks off with him.

Valdora 22-08-2011 02:52 AM

I always wondered what would happen if BBUK became more like the US version. I like it. The American is bringing the game of Big Brother to the UK public.

After 11 series and 7 Celebrity series this may be the thing to get the public back. Just watching people in a house isn't unique anymore. But if they bring the more game and tactical style BB to the UK it's something new. Dark but new. Bring on the weekly fights and drama if this continues!

I agree but I think she is having a hard time understanding some of the HM's.

Did Paddy even say something about Darren and being enemies with Tara or did she completely mis-interpret something Paddy said?

yes, Paddy specifically said to her, that Darryn said she was his enemy, she didn't make that up or misinterpret anything.

I don't think they actually showed the clip of Darryn saying that to Paddy though, so for all we know Paddy was just making it up to stir sheet, but Darryn didn't deny it when she confronted him.

cell 22-08-2011 03:43 AM

Ok good, I didn't think I saw it which is why I asked...
The clip could have at least posted, so we could be sure it wasn't he-said she-said.. unless the clip does exist...?
