Why are Jon and Edward so disliked by the public...?

They're annoying! but they're harmless enough :)

But honestly they haven't really annoyed me in the show and I think they are so entertaining.

They are disliked, because they are annoying. They are only famous for being annoying. Why do you think they are booked on shows? because of their amazing musical talent?

Could it be the energetic hyperactivity?
Could it be the complete lack of talent?
Could it be the vast ignorance of the world?
Could it be the self-delusion?
Could it be the incessant chatting?

they have a very limited act and its appeal is mainly to small children. The reason tonight was good is because we saw the kind of human interaction that they are completely incapable of.

They belong on some kids TV show that revolves around pranks and wacky jump around behaviour.

I honestly can't stand them. I don't know if they're real or what? And it's not even Justin Bieber lose jealousy, I seriously dislike these two.

It actually annoys me how they talk like they actually have talent and deserve success. Utterly deluded.

I was put right off them when they were on the x factor. Just seemed like a couple of arrogant pricks. Especially when they sang that womans lines at bootcamp just to get more attention :/

They aren't really. They have a big fanbase and that's what's made them millionaires while still in their teens.

Firstly because you have NO CLUE what they make other than tabloid rumours...which are always BS. And secondly because you say it as if it somehow means they have talent or substance. No, it means they have a good manager who can sell any old crap.

And I do not believe they have a big fanbase. They do not sell records in the UK at all.

Looking at their commercial deals they do not look like huge money spinners. And they are certainly not making money from their music.

Plus the money they do make is halved, taxed, Louis-fied and then they have to pay all their expenses. Theyre probably left with just enough to keep them in hair gel for a year.

People really need to stop believing what they read. Its mostly PR nonsense to up a celebs profile and worth.

It is pretty well known that Jedward are millionaires - and why would they not be? They charge something like £40,000 for an appearance at private functions. They are making £500,000 for their CBB appearance - not bad for 3 weeks work.

I think good on them for taking absolutely no talent and making millions from it, wish I could do that. Also they seem nice enough.

I see why youd love them or hate them.

Really did not like them myself in TXF as they were quite obnoxious and well, talentless, however they have a good TV personality and I like how they dont care what people think and battle on. Nice guys at core and theyve grown on me since TXF... scrap the music though.

They have amassed in earnings near 3 million each so far.They hardly touch it though.So it's actually growing every year too to much more.


People were like this with Ant and Dec too,they had a really daft children's programme covering most of Saturday Morning that was slated by people and they got at Ant and Dec too, they also dabbled in the pop music area too with fair success but never really lighting the charts up.

What happened to them though, they became the 'biggest' presenting team on TV,I can see Louis Walsh keeping Jedward in the spotlight,then steering them to becoming like in the status of Ant and Dec.


Many people don't like Jedward but for every 1 person that doesn't there are likely 2 to 3 who do like them.
In my family for instance ages run from (ignoring the babies) 5 to 90 and the vast majority of those like Jedward,

I am 19, my sis in laws in their 20s and 30s and cousins betwween 14 and 35(male and female) have all been to see them in concert and really enjoyed them.

The main reason people get at Jedward are because most of them are the people who never liked them on X Factor anyway and they near all said, they would be gone and forgotten about within 6 to 9 months after X Factor finished that year.

What irks them is that they are still in the spotlight, even more so now, that they have amassed millions between them and there is bo sign of the demand for them on TV to be abating,in fact after CBB it's likely to increase.

I cannot stand them. They are annoying children and I'm bored of having them shoved down my throat wherever I turn.

And they say there are no heroes anymore. It's ambition like this that'll make the country great again.

Jedward have a syndrome. I'm not sure what it is, but it is definitely something. Not sure it's right to be gawping at the mentally ill on a tv show. To quote Radiohead... They're so *******ing special.

Because they're entertaining and great to watch - the public love voting people like that out.

While entertaining and funny at sometimes they are mainly annoying, immature, hyperactivity, big headed, loud, self centred, self obsessed, arrogant, talentless, childish and at times obnoxious.
