How excited are you for tonight?

On a scale of 1 to 10?

Incensed 09-09-2011 12:07 PM

At the moment about 2

Visage 09-09-2011 12:09 PM

10.

I'm so excited about tonight, yet as soon as the last housemate goes in I will be saying.... "Is that it?" Ha ha!

Pyramid* 09-09-2011 12:22 PM

About a 2.

Initial first nights I find tedious - each trying to forcibly stamp their mark on the group and find it all too false (which it is!)

Far prefer it when they've had a week or two to settle down, get used to their surroundings...... then forget to keep up pretences, let the mask slip and we get to see the real side of them.

That's when it I get interested.

Shasown 09-09-2011 12:23 PM

Maybe 1-1.5 hope its going to be a whole lot better than the CBB launch and series, but somehow cant see it.

6/10

It feels weird because we're going from watching the celebs to completly new people in one night. I don't know if it'll live up to the CBB series for me.

Helping out the less fortunate than myself? Yes I know, but it will get me my place in Heaven.

BigBrotherfan4ever 09-09-2011 12:31 PM

7 at the moment i have to say im feeling more excited about this series more did for CBB. i just Channel 5 give us plenty of updates & video clips, i think they didn't give as near enough for CBB.

The last week or so did have some fun elements to it, with a feeling of BB of old coming into play.

We can only watch and hope!

joeysteele 09-09-2011 12:32 PM

8 out of 10 for me, there will be people going in I will come to like and others I will likely wish were out as ever in time. It's a launch night, I will give all of them a chance.

Got the same 19 people watching it with me who watched the CBB final last night so it will be an enjoyable evening on all fronts.

It's going to be very hard to form fair opinions of 14 housemates, totally unknown to us, with only about 1 hours footage daily though.

No not exactly, I heard you have picked up lots of things in the past..

Thanks god for antibiotics and Lyclear eh?

Locke. 09-09-2011 12:35 PM

1. I just want CBB8 to continue :bored:

Black Dagger 09-09-2011 12:36 PM

8/10... I'd have liked CBB to go on for another week, but I genuinely can't wait for the wannabe's to be unleashed.

Yes, and thanks to you for posting your leftover meds to me.

There is kindness in you, it should be known.

Shusssht woman people on here think I am heartless. I dont want it to be known there is actually a decent streak within me.

Anyways I felt a bit sorry for you, have never heard of anyone having the whole A-Z used by the STD clincis, its not a menu you know.

I'm really annoyed at the Pamela Anderson twist. Why put a better celebrity than your celebrity series in the civilian house??? Bizare.

For me it's a 5. I am waiting and seeing but if the editing gets too annoying, the show doesn't let us get to know the housemates as much or the housemates are all pretty air heads I will be done with the show until they back peddle.

Maybe it's a clever way to entice the Celebrity series watchers only into watching the normal series?

But that's the problem. Only 2 million watched the celebrity series. Better than 1 million though.

That's not bad for C5 though is it?

Valdora 09-09-2011 01:20 PM

True. I just find it funny that we have gone from Stallones ex wifes and family to Hasslehoffs Ex Wive and co star.

Callum 09-09-2011 01:20 PM

5/10, not really excited but I always prefer normal BB's, more weeks and more action.

lol, yeah but C5 were always going to have a bit of an uphill struggle with BB, between the way the shows ratings and interest has dropped over the years and moving to a less popular channel.

Husssshhh little man. He doth protest too much.

Get with it ya old scutter. STD clinics are from yesteryear. It's GUM clincs now. Stop pretending you don't know, hell, if it wasn't for you, the ones in the Riveria would go bust.

BOT.

There has got to be some evil twist to Pammy girl going in - the old playing up on the sexpot thing last night..... I wonder what surprise BB has in store, but it's certainly going to be interesting seeing the reaction when the newbies enter the house tonight!! :D

God that's so true. When you consider the real Celebs that have been in the house. Jackie Stallone, Brigette Neilson (sp), some of the Jacksons, Alec Baldwin, Vinnie Jones etc : I think the show has lost it's oomph..... as well as the celebs now being wise to how badly things can be twisted - and cause them more damage than good.

CaudleHalbard 09-09-2011 01:32 PM

On a scale of 1-10, about 3 I would say.

fruit_cake 09-09-2011 01:54 PM

about 5..normally it would be around 8 or 9, but with no live feed, crap editing and stupid cliched background music every five minutes it just doesn't seem the same anymore

Tony1111 09-09-2011 02:17 PM

Depends how good the housemates are going to be. I think the downfall of CBB was that there was no argumentative personalities in there. We need some real bitches like Charlie! :D

Blog Rider 09-09-2011 02:45 PM

0/10 because without 24 hour live coverage its just a soap not Big Brother :)

mizzy25 09-09-2011 02:52 PM

2 @ the most as i find it dissapointing that they r all single and all under 30. its ageist for a start and i like to see varierty. paddy cbb winner aged 51 and married so why all under 30 and all single? doesnt make sense but il watch anyway

Ammi 09-09-2011 02:56 PM

Not nearly as excited as I was before CBB

As I said before, it's all about encouraging fauxmances. If you have singles under 30, you are more likely to get them.

I wonder how BB would cope with a gay fauxmance though? Would they encourage it by favourable editing? I have a suspicion not... ;)

They could have done with some hyperactive twins to liven the place up!:dance:
