Can we stop all the "BB want him to win, they're protecting him, he's the chosen one" crap?

Edit - and I know that he did receive nominations, but not enough to be up for eviction and less than Harry, if they did really want to keep him there they would either make it an Aaron vs Harry head to head or just cancel the eviction like most people would expect

Haven't heard anyone say anything like that about Jay in a week or two. I think everyone knows by now that that isn't the case.

I've seen it a couple of times although yeah not as much as a couple of weeks ago

but he was nominated along with faye and harry,he just didnt get as many as aaron and gem.

He got less nominations than Harry, really they should have cancelled the eviction, that's what most would be expecting and if they wanted to keep Jay in they would either do that or make it an Aaron vs Harry head to head

I think they've given up on his chances the moment Jem beat him in the vote.
I think they've added him to the mix this week as a sacrificial lamb to re-dress the balance to to the reaction from the public over their nominations meddling.

Jays behaviour was being excused and hidden from the public, and that is a fact. There is simply no way round that.

He shouldn't be up this week, but then no one should after a nominee walks, but thats my opinion.

Freezer incident is the only thing I can think of, and it's very possible that was due more out of C5's fear of attracting controversy than them wanting to protect him, there have been numerous incidents that have made the HL shows which have reflected negatively on Jay

They were happy to show Bobby do his thing, though. They didn't have to show it, they should have just kicked him out, and say that they asked him to leave. He's just been asked to leave that stupid Katie Price thing, so it's not as though he doesn't have previous.

Emma Willis just said on OK TV that Jems nominations (for Harry & Aaron) were cancelled because she walked, so that meant Harry & Aaron had one less nomination each, which in turn meant that Faye & Jay ended up with as many as Harry... So they didn't just put up all who were nominated by friends & family. Seems fair enough to me...

Well it's a fine line between what is and isn't appropriate to show, it's not that unthinkable that they simply didn't think it should be shown, it doesn't even sound that exciting an incident, sounds like he did it, put it in the freezer and than they stopped it there and got the fridge cleaned. He was given a warning for it I believe, and I don't think a stupid prank warrants him being kicked out, I don't think that Mark minded, Heaven didn't seem to mind that much, Maisy thought it was "ledge", so I'm struggling to see a victim here.

I don't remember Mark's nomination for Maisy being cancelled the week she was evicted..

But Mark wasn't up for eviction was he? And it probably would have made no difference anyway as Maisy got loads of nominations...

True, Maisy would have been up anyway, but I can't think of a valid reason as to why someone's nominations should be cancelled because they walked

Well it makes sense to me. Jem was up for eviction, she walked so to even things out in the fairest way & to work out who else should join Aaron up for eviction, they had to take away Jem nominations... If Mark had been up for eviction, then walked, I'm sure they would have taken his nominations away too...

Nope, it was planned to keep him, Its 3v1 fanwise, Aaron,Harry & Fayes votes will be split. Jay will get the 2nd most votes.

They're keep Jay (their chosen finalist) through the editing - Aaron & Faye are losing fans through bad editing & Harry is getting very little air time

The point remains though, that if they really were intent on Jay winning or reaching the final, they very easily could have avoided putting him up for eviction this week

There were fairly large legal ramifications here which is why 'nothing has been said'. In addition to this there are various controversial issues vis. health and safety - I suspect (although I might not be right) that Production have possibly intervened here and advised that a line should be drawn under this episode asap. This is the stuff that (potential) production nightmares are made of in some cases. Having said that - the likelihood of anyone's safety being compromised as a result of this (if indeed it did happen) is fairly remote. I am sure channel 5 adhered to toxic waste disposal laws to the letter, should this have become necessary. It's all unfortunately unsavoury - if it happened. If it did not then there is no problem whatsoever but possibly Jay will sadly be remembered for an untrue 'allegation'. Probably time for everyone to move on from the notion. The legal team would have this boxed off before you could say Tom, Dick or Harry to win.
