BB refusing nominations?

Seems Jay has tried to vote for Alex...but had his vote refused.

While they accept reasons such as Marks 'pocohontas' and Jays previous 'Tom wouldnt give me all of his food' and Louises 'she keeps looking at me funneh'...why would they refuse this?

Seems a little odd.

Odd sound drop out at about 1m04s as he was saying why BB rejected his nomination.

So tell us now that BB doesn't manipulate the nominations!! :hugesmile::dance:

That's pretty ridiculous, looks even more likely that they're wanting to Alex win now although then again it's not as though she'd have been up anyway :S

Beginning to think Rebeckahs claims about having her nominations rejected are true...

Nominations ?

There is no proof other than chopped up clips of what happened none of us will ever know why.

Oh, I think we can piece bits together, Jay tried to nominate Alex - disallowed. Louise tried to nominate Tom - disallowed. Why do the asshole producers put these vids up or do they consider that the Clearasil Kids are too thick to see through them?

What did Rebeckah say about her nominations being refused?

this best not be true. I will completely switch off. Thats too much fiddling for my liking.

She said she had tried to nominate jay for something to do with fisting(I assume a story he told or something) but she wasnt allowed to.

they're discussing past noms, who they voted for who, why and when etc.


They aren't 'new' nominations ! :)

I wonder if manipulating the nominations and thereby the resulting outcome would be a genuine complaint that OFCOM would take up?

If I remember rightly that was on BOTS and I thought Emma said "who would you nominate this week" and she said "Jay" and Emma said "again? why's that?" and she said "not sure if I can say, have you been shown the fisting" and Emma said "don't think this is the time" or something like that

I haven't heard about Rebeckah actually trying that reason and having it refused

Pretty sure she said she had tried to use it as a reason to nom him but was told she couldnt...

That just goes to prove how they are manipulating the public, Rebeckah obviously said something in the house, possibly in the DR and it was simply cut. It would appear from that exchange (which I also saw but had forgotten) that Emma was fully aware of, and probably had seen, the incident referred to.

That is also MY recollection.

Then Rebeckah says "that's why" she'd have nominated him, I don't think she was stopped from using it a reason

The HM's have to give full and valid reasons for their nominations. This forum should be re - named the BB conspiracy theory forum.

I read that as a rejected reason for nominating, were her nominations and REASONS actually aired that week?

i dont like rebekah but yes it iseems she was right on certain things

So you think Marks reasoning of Tashie dressing like pocohontas might mean if he did something funny in the same room as her, it might not be broadcast for copyright reasons....or jays Tom offered to share his food, but I wanted it all and he wouldnt give me it are valid and full reasons?! :laugh:

It was my understanding that we only see a little snippet of each nomination. It is often said that ‘so and so has been in the DR nominating for the last 20...30...40 minutes - but when it is shown, we see only seconds. So I assumed only the bare bones of the reason for the nom is shown.

Tom says in the vid, that he's never nomd Jay. Jay says you did 'this week' ! Tom says yeah but that don't really count as we were trying to get everyone up!....ok so why over last two days had Tom been off with Aaron? hmm because Aaron nomd Tom strange hey. Although Aaron did mess up the all up thing in end.

Yes she said they wouldn't allow her to vote for Jay when she said she was voting for him because of the fisting. It was then that she said "I don't know if they have shown the fisting on the show" and Emma then said I don't think this is the place (or something) to discuss that.

Bit like freezergate really - bet he was nommed by everyone for that but gather they all got stopped as well.
