It is a bit of a weird thread isn't it? I mean Aaron made it clear in that interview it is just whilst he looks for his own place, so surely it makes sense he would obviously need a place for his son to come and stay with him in the meantime.

Strange enough when I moved out of my marital home - I stayed at my parents' house here in the UK for a year before I got my own place.

Maybe I was fortunate in that I was female, coz it looks like the OP expects mothers to chuck their sons out on the street Suze whilst they are looking for their own home after a marriage breaks up........ !!!! Allegedly! :joker:

It's more sensible than anything. Probably cheaper to live with his mum while he saves up instead of getting into debt with rent etc. I see no problem with it. Quite hilarious that the people that don't like him still talk about him really :joker:

Lots of people move back in with their parents in their thirties; one of my friends did after she split up with her fella, another moved back to save up for a deposit on a house rather than spunk it all on renting, and another because she got made redundant from her job in the city.. nothing wrong with that

Of course it's sensible. The man has a young child -so him moving in with single friends wouldn't work because he sees his little boy quite a lot (didn't he say as much as he can, about 3 or 4 times a week he's got him)

StraightEdge695 16-11-2011 10:53 PM

matt cardle is 29 and lives with his mum and dad as well =P

thesheriff443 16-11-2011 10:55 PM

he would move in with his friends but its hard when they are imaginary!.lol

MaratSafinForever 16-11-2011 10:56 PM

In foreign countries this is not strange at all. In Britain, people seem to forget about the ones who brought them up and created opportunities for what they have now.

No, it's not weird at all.

More proof that you're a horrible person.

Visage 16-11-2011 10:57 PM

My daughter is 13 and she can live with me and her mum for as long as she wants.

I'm sure in time she will want to start her own home and if that ever happens, she will always have a key to our home, regardless of what age she is.

flamingGalah! 16-11-2011 10:57 PM

OP is still obsessed with Aaron. Get over it poppet! :xyxwave:

Isn't it one of the issues that the 'younger' generation have these days: not being able to afford enough of a deposit on a single salary to get a foot on the housing market, that it takes years to do now, and they have to stay with parents? if they rent somewhere, the money used for rent cannot be saved up for a deposit - so often the only chance is to stay with parents that bit longer.

I kinda think the reason for the thread being made, has sort of backfired.....just a tad.

You'll not be saying that when she turns 17 and into the daughter from hell ....

Jokes aside, that is truly a lovely thing to hear a parent say.

It's not out of the norm these days and if anything it speaks that Aarron gets on well with his mother.

joeysteele 16-11-2011 11:15 PM

Not really, if I got to 30 and wasn't settled down with someone, I could likely be more help at home anyway, there are many reasons why some people, Son's and Daughters never leave home,no matter what age they are.

For instance, one of my Aunts married and lived with my Grandmother still right up until the day she died. Some people feel safer or happier that way and if it works then there is nothing wrong with it at all.

Aaron likely went back home after his marriage breakdown, I don't see a single thing that is wrong in that or anyhting to criticise him for for doing so, in the end it comes down to the individuals choice and decision and if his Mother/Parents are happy for him to be at home then what on earth is wrong with that.

Glenn. 16-11-2011 11:16 PM

Can't a mod just permaban members who continuously bate for arguments?

It's getting beyond a joke now, it's just plain trolling.
