Good work Samuel

Very probably the greatest song ever

MattySlug 23-11-2011 12:59 PM

GZA is coming down under and he is performing the entire Liquid Swords!

Don't get paid for a week, worried it will sell out; a friend may buy my tickets tommorow and I will pay back!!

Samuel. 23-11-2011 04:35 PM

My fav track at the moment.

Might add album release dates to the OP at some point.

Roy Mars III 23-11-2011 04:36 PM

Roy Mars III 23-11-2011 04:50 PM

:worship: GOAT to be honest.

Samuel. 23-11-2011 05:07 PM

Not a fan of old school hip hop, a part from Nas.

I reckon I'd like A Tribe Called Quest as well but I haven't listened through any of their albums yet.

Could go on all day. Classics.

saigon 24-11-2011 02:36 PM

Anybody thats into Ghostface should check out Action Bronson. Hes sounds alot like Ghost. Hes really good ive been listening to him for the past few months.

Ive got his album and a few mixtapes here for anybody who is after them.

TBH when i first saw him i was like WTF who is this guy based on his appearance but after listening i was hooked.

90s Hiphop >

There is still some decent stuff coming out now. Alot of total **** tho.

Wu Tang / Mobb Deep / Nas / Biggie / IceCube / Cyprus Hill / Common / Immortal Technique

Thats the kinda stuff im into mainly, still listen to alot of newer stuff aswell tho. 90s was the golden era.

I listened to Drake's album earlier.....My laptop cried tbh. He isn't hip hop im afraid. Says alot that even Carter 4 was better in my opinion.

Watch The Throne is still the best hip hop album this year for me.

Saigon - Greatest Story Never Told

Game - R.E.D

JCole - Cole World

Kendrick Lamar - Section 80

I wasnt a fan of watch the throne at all man. Probs all the hype for it expected to much.

saigon 24-11-2011 04:17 PM

This is one of the best story telling hiphop songs ever written.

Its on for a while but just listen to it, guarantee you will like it.

Samuel. 24-11-2011 04:21 PM

Nothing touching Section.80 or XXX this year tbh.

I think Take Care is the best mainstream hip hop album of the year though. Watch The Throne is probably Kanye's worst album. As much as I dislike 808s, I can respect it on an artistic level. It's not that it's a bad album, it's just not Kanye's level, especially coming from MBDTF.

Childish Gambino is one of my favorite rappers. His Album Camp debuted at #11 on the billboard top 200. Not bad for his first mainstream debut. Especially considering that Jason Derulo is 100x more popular artist debuted at 29 and only sold 13k.

Favs songs from His album Camp

Songs from His tapes

Kendrick Lamar. Best new rapper.

Just in case you don't know. Its Kendrick Lamar that is rapping on this Interlude from Drake's new album.
