A bullied teen's poignant video has caught the eye of the blogosphere over three months after it was originally posted.
The clip, simply titled "Whats goin on..." and uploaded to YouTube in August, features eighth grader Jonah Mowry, who addresses the audience with a series of revealing notecards while Sia's "Breathe Me" plays in the background. "I've cut...a lot. I have scars. Suicide was an option...many times," Mowry confesses on two of the cards as he sobs in the video, which... Edit |

Ah no :laugh2: |
He's a ****ing fraud, if this new video of him 'my school love me' is him... then congrats on him for trolling the internet.
|
The way i look at it is its that 4 months ago when he first released the video he was depressed and bullied then he moved school and got cocky because he got a few new friends
Trust me when you go from being bullied and having no one to suddenly being very well liked somewhere else likes you it does increase your confidence ALOT |
the link isnt working
|
oh its that twat
im sorry but that video is sf annoying he is so full of self pity its nauseating idgaf how much he was bullied it doesnt mean he should write all those stupid notes its just really and the music he put as the background smh :bored: and crying for the camera and **** its just attention seeking idec |
he probably squeezed those tears out aswell
|
Link doesn't work for me, but I seen the vid the other day.
I felt pretty bad for him, and I'm glad his story has a happy ending. |

He looks really upset, I dont think hes faking it
|
people who make those kind of videos dont deserve sympathy anyway
people who go looking for it shouldnt get it |
omg LOL just saw that vid
|
you can't fake what he did in the first one, but I agree with what Karl said, it would change a person a lot, especially at such a young age (he's 13 I think)
|
what did he do -didnt even watch-
|
|
the other video worked but when i heard the music and saw those flip note thingys i just thought what a twat and stopped watching
|
im watching it now and im sorry but what a little ****ing prick he is >_>
why else would you cut yourself and post a video of the scars on yt other than for attention its as bad as those videos that are just pictures of scars with joy division playing in the background im sorry but i have no sympathy for him and he doesnt deserve any from anybody else imo :hmph: |
On his original video he had it in the description that he originally had this on private and only sent it to his friends that moved away and they all thought it was amazing and convinced him to put it on youtube so people could see it so he did but its only gotten mad popular in the last week it seems
|
'a lot of people hate me... i dont know why'
i know why because you make videos like this you annoying little **** |
he spelt guess wrong aswell
**** |
here it is
Spoiler: |
I like him, he seems nice and I do think that this new him is a bit of an act. (even though he does seem like an arrogant twat)
|
Yeah i dont get why people are saying he faked the first video
He never once said he faked it ..just silly people jumping to conclusions He's probably embarressed now looking back on it and wants to look cool on front of his new friends maybe |
karl why have you suddenly become an ambassador for THE LGBT parade
|
yeah exactly
Those feelings he had in the first video don't just go away I really like the video anyway, I think it's really effective even though it doesn't mean to be |
:joker::joker:
Im not its just my facebook has been getting riddled with ****e about this guy for a while now about being a faker and stuff and like and im trying to defend him cus hes obviously just a dude who's not used to being popular |
leave him alone scott :nono:
|
Okay it's sad what he's had to endure and the things that he's been through but the thing is, why has this particular video gotten so much attention? There are tonnes of other identical videos on YouTube that are of a similar subject matter. It baffles me that all of those equally sad, and very preventible stories don't really get this much attention.

Youth is painful for us all. gay str8, black white brown, boy girl, it hurts. We all go through the hard part of trying to grow into strong confident adults, while still being subject to authorities that we don't agree with (parents/teachers).
It's a very difficult time, and we all know about it, we all went through it, and it really is tough. Especially in this new world of technology where we can compare ourselves with everyone else. Finding yourself in this new world is even more difficult. I'm definitely grateful i didn't have the internet when i was a teenager. I think it makes it way more difficult. |

I don't care how cheesy this may sound, but it kinda gives me a place to fully express myself whereas I might not be able to irl, so in that respect I consider it a positive development. |
Well i'm sorry you're in the closet. I came out at 15, so i can't understand how difficult it must be to be in the closet later in life.
|
such endearing compassion you have for your fellow man, scott.
Who cares which is the most "popular" YouTube video of a victim of homophobia? If it's getting coverage it can only be good news for LGBT campaigns. The amount of bile typed out just for the sake of "it's clogging up my feed" - scroll past it then  and it's certainly a welcome change from all of the lolcats and "ha ur a fag" **** you reblog, scott. I know you love trolling and that can be funny from time to time but give it a rest  because it just makes you look heartless. [/ranting at scott, something i don't like to do ;_;] |
