Oxford Street Stabbing..

I ended up leaving there almost as soon as I got there.

Sad loss of life.
R.I.P
-----------------------------

An 18-year-old has been stabbed to death in London, on one of the UK's busiest shopping streets.

The man died outside the Foot Locker sports shop on Oxford Street, near the junction with Stratford Place.

Police said they were called to the scene at about 13:45 GMT. Nine people were arrested and part of the street, near Bond Street Tube, was closed.

WOW that's somewhere I'd never even consider something like this happening. Shame really as I love visiting Oxford Street.

Terrible.

Sometimes I think it's backwards we're going. All these stabbings are so brutal and animal like.

Brother Leon 26-12-2011 09:07 PM

It's crazy it happened during Boxing Day sales....I mean it really could not of been at a more packed time.

Jords 26-12-2011 09:08 PM

If its over shopping or getting pissed with the crowds over it, just absolutely disgusting.

Stu 26-12-2011 09:27 PM

It was the skunk and GTA what done it.

It's so pathetic and meaningless. It's somebodies life ffs! People just carry knives willy nilly without a shred of thought about using them

I know, it's unbelievable that someone can walk out the house with the weapon like it's no big deal, and take someone's life over something so petty. Killing someone is obviously never acceptable but killing them over THAT of all things ffs? It absolutely disgusts me.

Not to mention, removing someone's life like that, it seems these people don't realise how many people it's going to affect. And yet they can still go ahead and do it. Truly awful.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 27-12-2011 12:04 AM

has it actually been confirmed it was over shopping >_>

says on one site it was a gang war

Brother Leon 27-12-2011 12:06 AM

It wasn't over shopping.....It was an ongoing dispute apparently.

Doesn't make it any better of course.

Doubtful. It probably is more likely to be gang related. Just as stupid though. Just as needless, mindless and pathetic

MeMyselfAndI 27-12-2011 12:08 AM

:(

bbfan1991 27-12-2011 12:15 AM

What a waste of a life, condolonces to the mans family:(.

All these petty gang wars or just brutal crimes in general really are pathetic:mad:.

MTVN 27-12-2011 12:16 AM

Killing someone in front of hundreds of people in a crowded shopping centre, very clever.. sad news, least it looks like they've probably got the guys who did it

Seems gang related but I think it's all speculation so far

Kerry 27-12-2011 01:38 AM

There was another stabbing too. Not far away from there. They don't know if it's related or not though yet. The guy is in hospital with leg wounds

Yes Alive that one.

They say those at Oxford Street
were two Gangs.
Both wanting to Nick shoes.

InOne 27-12-2011 11:58 AM

So was this another Black on Black stabbing? They actually have a unit that just deals with that now.

Stu 27-12-2011 12:44 PM

Is it G-Unit?

The coat is already on.

patsylimerick 27-12-2011 02:52 PM

The video of people crowding the police to capture the event on camera is shocking. Idiots; heartless, mindless idiots.

The trouble is today people want things yesterday, gone are the days when you saved for what you wanted. Youngsters have no real values no more.
A life for a pair of trainers :conf:

Most youngsters have plenty of values. I value reading articles and not making assumptions, for instance.

Brother Leon 27-12-2011 07:13 PM

The person who was killed was very much involved in the gang lifestyle. I highly doubt it is over trainers. It was just gang violence gone too far.
