Judging Housemates
 

Do you form your opinions on the housemates by the way they behave inside the house or from the way they are and the things they have done outside of the house?

I try very hard not to judge them by what goes on in their personal lives. But sometimes try as I might for a few of them I just can't help it.

My initial impressions are from what they've done before, that's if I've ever heard of them which often, I haven't. It's so disappointing when someone you thought was okay turns out to be a complete tool. I've liked Madsen since I first saw Reservoir Dogs and I'm happy to say he hasn't let me down.

Both,I knew I hated Nicola from a long time ago, Thought i would feel same about Frankie after seeing him on X factor but changed my mind on him,Denise,i used to like until she spoke out for the McCanns,hate her now

Only from inside the house, though without a decent live stream I feel less involved and able to judge.

100% from how they are in the house. That's the only thing that matters.

Inside. I mean for Natasha (who I didn't really know of, except for that massive affair in the news) I have started to really like, which proves that I don't care about the outside.

I hated Andrew outside and inside the house, so yeah I can't use him as an example :laugh:

I think I do actually... I hated Nicola in the jungle, like really badly, to the point where I wish she'd **** off, in this she's pleased me.

Purely based on their behavior INSIDE the house for me. That's the fun of CBB is seeing them in a totally new light outside of their public persona.

Reeally? I lve her, she was the only one that tried to expose that obnoxious poser David vAn Day, i couldn't stand him.

I liked Nicola much more on IAC than i do on this CBB. Now i just see as her as jealous, cause georgia and the twins are hotter than her.

I disliked Nicola in I'm a Celebrity so I disliked her from the get go.

And David Van Day destroyed her time and time again like the god he is.

What does that mean spoke out for the McCanns?

I try and judge them on their behaviour inside the house but it can be hard to put aside any preconceptions at times.

I didn't think David VD did anything that bad in the Jungle than speak his mind about things, other than that I always look at a lot of what he says in and out of reality shows as tongue in cheek. I can't dislike the bloke.

As soon as Natasha said something about "Ryan being forgiven after scoring a silly goal" in her VT I placed her at the bottom of my list until the end.

Hope she goes out today :)

I just think she came across as a nasty, play-ground bully in the jungle, turning everybody against David and Timmy because they were different.

So immediately expected to hate her when she was announced for CBB and she hasn't done anything to rile me in there yet.

He was being bullied and he stood up for himself. A legend

david and timmy were not just "different" though they were making up songs, and talking about how they could get a spin off show from this and trying to write a song thinking it would be a hit song, and then DVD even tried to tell nicola that they should team up to manipulate the cameras and have a fake showmance. DVD was a manipulative bastard.

Nicola is not a likeable person, but compared to DVD she was a saint.

so flirting with Nicola, and suggesting they should have a showmance because it would help his career, that didn't turn you off?? really?? It was all caught on camera, did you watch the same show i did??

Eh have i missed something?? I'm completely lost here? Is this an inside joke or something?

Actually, I also instantly disliked Nicola, for what she had said about Aaron during the last series.

I guess I am prone to pre-judging housemates, but I think 99% of the time I never have strong feelings either way for a "celeb" for that to ever happen.

I think she is more a bit silly and very easily led than pure nasty, and her mouth runs away with her before her brain has a chance to engage. Ryan G, should get a lot more stick over it all than Natasha in my opinion. Sure she blabbed to the media, but there again they already knew a lot of it anyway. And Ryan didn't stop at her it would seem. But hey ho, he's a big shot footballer or whatever, so that must be ok then.

Of course I watched the same show, what sort of question is that? Did you read through all my post though I have to wonder?

I did, and you seemed to mysteriously omit that particular incident. intentionally?

I think it's a bit of both for me really, I try not to judge them on the way they are before they enter the house but it doesn't always work tbh I expected to really dislike Natasha because of what I had heard about her but I'm actually finding her to be a more like-able person in there than Denise, Nicola and Natalie, Natalie I thought would be a really nice down to earth person but I'm finding her to be the complete opposite IMO of course and Michael I have always liked even before BB and he hasn't let me down in there so far :)

He has had alot of stick though which is why I found her whole attempt to play the victim pathetic. Hell people were saying he should return his Player of the year award, when the reason has nothing to do with Football. You only need to see some of the **** he hears from opposition fans at every stadium to say he has got it worse than her arguably. At the end of the day she has cashed in on the whole thing, she has no right to even mention how Ryan Giggs has been seen :laugh:

well they say, every great man, has a great woman behind him. The fact that he had 2 behind him could be considered cheating.

For the most part the "celebs" in the BB house aren't even on my radar in "real life". Half the time I have to be told who they are.

You can't help but to have preconceived ideas about what people are really like, however I try to judge them solely from what I see on the show.

For example I've never had much time for Michael Madsen. But he's now my firm favourite in the house.

I was delighted to see Frankie get the boot from the x-factor, the boy couldn't sing for nuts. Yet I now find myself half liking him, until he starts talking about sex, then a slap is required.

The twins I vaguely remember from TV, but I knew nothing about them apart from Playboy. Like many I was expecting dumb and dumbest, yet they have been the surprise of the show, they actually have a brain.

I have no recollection of Nicola on I'm a Celeb, she made that little of an impression on me. I doubt I'll remember her 6 months from now.

I know who Nataile is. I had little interest in her before she was on the show. I liked her for the first few days, but she does run her mouth abit.

And like everyone I had heard of the Giggs affair, yet I wouldn't have had a clue who Natasha was up until she walked down the BB runway. Her past is unforgivable, but it has nothing to do with us, joe public. What she is saying is correct, unlike Ryan, she can't kick a few balls around and be forgiven. So I think its good that she has the chance to be seen for something else. After all the papers have made it their business to vilify this woman. Who, from what we can see, is a very sweet lady. Out of all of the HM's she's my biggest surprise, I think she's my favourite out of the women, despite the fact that she isn't a celeb and her personal history.

We only ever get a snap shot of what is going on in these peoples lives, so I think we can only really judge them on what we see in the house.

In fairness most of the stick he got had nothing to do with Natasha. It had to do with something else...something we really aren't allowed to talk about...

And lets face it, the papers cashed in on Natasha's life in a big way. Millions was made on it. It was exploited from every angle by people who weren't involved and didn't care what happened in the long run. Phone tapping anyone? Natasha making a few pounds off it is the least of the issues there...

Err ... no, he didnt actually. Joe Swash had to do it for him.
