Michael slipped to 4th fav now!

Wow hes dropped down betting odds quicker than a boulder off of Beachy Head, not Mr Legend any more

Josy 17-01-2012 09:55 AM

I don't know much about odds but i'm guessing that could be cos he's facing eviction tommorow

Could be, but i would have expected if that was the reason him dropping one place, but not from fav to 4th fav

Josy 17-01-2012 10:00 AM

He wasnt fave yesterday though was he? I'm sure someone posted that Gareth and Natalie was.

chuff me dizzy 17-01-2012 10:01 AM

No,Gareth was, hes been drifting BEFORE he was nominated, now dropped with a bang

Josy 17-01-2012 10:04 AM

Ah well, the odds havent meant much this series anyway, Nicola was fave to go and she stayed.

Crimson Dynamo 17-01-2012 10:05 AM

Nicola is bulletproof

Beso 17-01-2012 10:09 AM

:nono:He has never been the favourite chuff:nono:

Only Gareth and Natalie have hit that dizzy height so far.

At the moment Michael is standing anywhere from 9/2 to 6/1 which is where he was at the start of the show.

It doesn't matter a jot where he is placed, he is up for eviction so will drop and then go up again if he survives the eviction. Being favourite doesn't mean a thing as we have seen from so many BB's :) All we need to concentrate on is getting him through this eviction for now :)

I would be surprised if he didn't drop to be honest whilst up for eviction. Look how Aaron's odds fluctuated.

Me too, but the "fans" will call you a liar

rsefitpro2011 17-01-2012 12:29 PM

The odd's don't mean alot, as has been proven, on last seasons Big Brothers!. I am surprised to see Natalie up their with Gareth?. I mean apart from the task on the opening night Natalie hasn't done alot.

For Gareth a decent enough guy, honest and everything else but he hasn't added alot in terms of entertainment value.

Michael still stands a great chance of winning!

Incensed 17-01-2012 12:31 PM

Well according to Ladbrokes on Saturday, he was the favourite!

Jords 17-01-2012 12:33 PM

Michael was briefly favourite 4-5 days ago.

fruit_cake 17-01-2012 12:34 PM

He was the favourite.

Jords 17-01-2012 12:35 PM

btw hes shorteded in odds to go from 6/1 to 5/2, relatively steep drop. Whilst Georgia has climbed from 1/14 to 1/4, still way ahead favourite but it might close tighter for the finale tomorrow!

I wish I could allow myself to get giddy over this weeks evc=iction ,but iM sad to say I think he will stay ,he was trying to get voters to think he had changed when he did the"coat" carry on last night, it was partly to wind up Denise, hoping she would kick off ,but she didnt she turned it full circle to make him look a tw@ ,and why cuddle up to the woman he HATES when he finds out hes been nominated? He thinks we believe his BS"I want to leave" go to the diary room, tell bb your going and go, simple as that (wait for fans saying ,hes no quitter :idc:)

It's because he's up for eviction and might go.

If he stays he'll be soon in the top 3.

Locke. 17-01-2012 02:37 PM

Not worth the risk betting on him at the moment because there is a good chance he will go tomorrow (surprisingly.. I was expecting it to be a landslide). He will survive though, and probably get a good audience reception, and then a lot of money will go on him at odds of 6/1 or further out... so he'll probably end up as favourite or second favourite again on saturday

Bollo 17-01-2012 02:51 PM

I'm not surprised to be honest, his ongoing clash with Denise is not doing him any great favours

madsen was favourite with every single bookmaker just 2 or 3 days ago, fact.

mirak_eel 17-01-2012 03:37 PM

I wouldn't worry, the odds for Big Brother are so wide of the mark it's untrue, look at Friday's eviction for example.
One name, Aaron. Was 2nd favourite for the biggest part of the final few weeks, odds drifted out to 10/3 (which i pounced on and won a healthy sum from) and won comfortably. Moral of the story, dont base your predictions on the bookies.
I think Michael stands a great chance of winning, and 6/1 is amazing odds, have a flutter.

Me. I Am Salman 17-01-2012 04:32 PM

i want him to be 3rd favourite
nicola first, then the twins, then michael
although i have acknowledged the fact that Nicola will never be favourite cause not enough people love her like me

bbfan1991 17-01-2012 04:34 PM

I would ignore the odds, voting does the talking in the end...

rsefitpro2011 17-01-2012 06:19 PM

I am surprised that Gareths favourite?. These odds are not to be believed, especially going off recent Big Brothers!

Michael has a great chance!

Michael was favourite for quite a few days but as soon as he came up for eviction he dropped to 2nd place then down to 4th. Gareth was well down so well done him. Natalie has always been 1st or 2nd. Frankie has risen to 3rd but it will be interesting to see what happens after tonight if Michael stays. The bookies havent had such a good record of recording with these last two series, at one time it got quite boring because they were so right, it is a dfifferent tale now. Jedward were favourites right from the beginning with the bookies and yet they came third. I have been checking every day, part of the fun of CBB/BB.

Totally agree with your post, it's more or less what I have been saying. Odds fluctuate during evictions if a supposed favourite is up, and so their odds to win will drop during evictions giving other housemates odds the chance to rise. If Michael stays tonight I expect his odds will rise again. But being a bookies favourite doesn't mean a jot in BB these days, especially in the final. I am not even bothered if Michael is a favourite to win or not, I just like watching him being entertaining to me in that house :) He could be bottom in the odds for all I care :joker:
