After completing the first task, Gryffindor won immunity from the first elimination. But all members of Slytheryn, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw faced nominations. After completing the first round, the following people face Elimination:

TBH though, I don't think "public" vote is fair either. Because then it just turns into a popularity contest. Takes it right out of the game and makes it rather pointless.
IMO there should be some kind of quick challenge or quiz or something to decide who leaves.

It's time to find out the fate of GypsyGoth, Jessica and JH95..

So, on Wednesday night 12 pupils entered Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and were all acquainted with each other. It wasn't long until the first task was set, were pupils were required to research the history of Hogwarts.

Gryffindor won the task, meaning they were immune from the first round of Nominations and the first Elimination. All of the pupils are gathered now in the Great Hall for the first elimination..
