Cristiano Ronaldo!
I am so glad he won the match for Real Madrid vs Barcelona at the Nou Camp, it will be great seeing him win his first La Liga title:worship:.

this is a Cristiano Ronaldo general discussion thread
|
About time he had an appreciation thread tbh.
I was in the away end then, and I remember thinking that he will be the best in the world. One of my fondest memories of his and it came before he went absolute ham for us :) |
Yes this is a Cristiano Ronaldo appreciation thread.. I will always be grateful for what he done at United and he never has a bad word to say about United or SAF! I don't like Madrid much but i've always wished him well, unless Madrid play United at some point...

I will say it once again he is twice the player Messi is. Ronaldo has scored more goals in the league than him (although the media never mention it cause Messi is the golden boy) he tore up the EPL while anytime Messi plays against an English he is harder to find than a pin in a haystack
VIVA RONALDO |
I hate Ronaldo, his suppose to be a winger yet he can't cross a ball to save his life.
Messi on the otherhand can score goals and do Ronaldo's job. |

Messi cant do **** when he doesn't have Xavi and Iniseta opening up teams for him just look at his performances for Argenitina Prime Ronaldihno was better than Messi at Barca FACT

I would like to see Ronaldo at Liverpool (no offence Locke) and see how he copes then. |

Funny you say that. Liverpool turned him down I think. Or it may of been Arsenal. Crazy to think how different the Prem may of been then. |

And to the bottom part of your post, that is quite interesting really as I think Ronaldo wouldn't be as highly rated if he was playing for one of those teams back then imo. |

renaldo and messi are two great players, the best in the world at the moment.

Now if only life was this simple. |
Messi and Ronaldo are both talented players, most people should appreciate it instead of keep debating who is better.
I agree that whilst Messi has his talent he is also helped by Xavi and Iniesta to some extent, while Ronaldo has worked with different players from Rooney and Tevez to Di Maria, Benzema and Higuain etc whilst being able to gel with the way those players operate! |
What I would give to have him back in a week time.
Seriously. You never panicked in a match because you knew he could make something from absolutely nothing. We only really have Rooney and Nani do that for us now and THAT Blackburn goal by Tony V. |
What a stat that Ronaldo is the only player this season in Spain to have scored a goal against all La Liga sides...

REAL MADRID superstar Cristiano Ronaldo admits he misses life at Manchester United.
The Portuguese forward became the world’s most expensive player when he left Old Trafford to move to the Bernabeu in an £80million switch three years ago. Since then, Ronaldo has emerged as one of Real’s greatest-ever players, scoring a jaw-dropping 140 goals in 138 matches. His latest strike was the winning goal in Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Barcelona at the Nou Camp which sent Jose Mourinho’s men seven points clear at the top of La Liga. But despite his success in Spain, Ronaldo claims he still has fond memories of the time he spent in the North West under Alex Ferguson. The 27-year-old said: “I speak with Sir Alex sometimes and of course I miss Manchester. “It felt like I left a family back there because I spent six years with all those guys and I still have a very good relationship with Ferguson and the rest of the lads. “I still speak with Rio Ferdinand, Nani, Anderson and Patrice Evra. I still see them as a big family, so of course I miss them. "I especially miss the apple crumble and custard they served at Carrington after training — it was amazing!" When asked what he specifically missed about working under Fergie, Ronaldo joked: “Ha! I miss his good moods all the time! Always happy. Ha ha! “But he always had a good energy around the players and the team — and I miss that.” Despite his phenomenal goal-scoring exploits for Madrid, Ronaldo has just last year’s Copa del Rey winners' medal to show for his efforts. He has had to play second fiddle to Lionel Messi and his Barca team-mates, who in the time Ronaldo has been at the Bernabeu have won an incredible SEVEN trophies. But with Real in pole position to clinch their first league title in four years, Ronaldo claims he has never been happier. Speaking to Zoo Magazine, he added: "I’m enjoying my football so much at the moment and I think I’m much better now than when I was younger. "The best moments of my career so far have been when I won the Champions League with Manchester United and when I won my first title here with Real Madrid. OUT NOW ... Zoo Magazine OUT NOW ... Zoo Magazine "And when I won the best player in the world, the Golden Boot — those were all special moments for me. "Of course, I have many regrets and not just on the pitch, either. But I always try and improve myself. "When I do something good, I carry on doing that and when I make mistakes I try to change them. "I never regret making mistakes because I like to learn from them on and off the pitch. "Last season I scored 40 goals and now the fans expect me to score more. That’s a lot of pressure but I always try to improve on the last year." Ronaldo and his Real team-mates could yet claim a domestic and European cup Double this season. They face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final showdown on Wednesday. But they will have to come from 2-1 down to beat the Germans if they are to book a place in the final against either Chelsea or Barcelona. However, Ronaldo is looking at events beyond the showpiece finale at the Allianz Arena on May 19, with this summer's European Championships high on his agenda. He said: "My expectations for Portugal in the Euros are high because it’s a great competition. "We are in a very hard group and it will be tough to beat Germany and Holland but I think it will be possible for us to go forward." --------------------- What a man :worship: |
