This bitch needs to be caught and ****ing shot!

Slapping and kicking an 8 month old baby in the face is pure ****ing evil. It just got to me at one point the baby was trying to hug her and she slapped him away.

Really upsetting :(

Are you serious? What she did is absolutely disgusting. Who the hell would treat a baby like that? And she deserves a lot more than 18 months!

And on release she should be sterilised to stop this happening to another innocent child. Unfortunately that would be against the womans human rights though...noone cares about the human rights of kids it seems.

Hopefully Redway, the outrage and disgust at your comments, shows you how strongly people feel about such things as it is just plain wrong. Most people can tell the difference.

A baby is a baby. We're not talking about older children. Babies respond to what's around them.

BIB - Why comment if you haven't the first clue about what happened?

It wasn't a smack for naughty behaviour. It was a BEATING.

I'm not going to call you any names, I beleieve in respecting opinions no matter how odd they seem to me...but can you answer one question?

How does a 8 month old baby 'provoke' their mother to beat them?

I could understand a bit more if you were talking about...say a 13 year old...though I still dont agree with violence against children...but no way can a baby provoke a reaction like that

That's a baby, you don't discipline babies, they don't understand. That woman was hitting a defenceless baby in the head, I had to turn it off when she started pinching it. I really hope you never have kids, if you don't see anything wrong with what she was doing.

So you think kicking an 8 month old baby in the stomach is OK or slapping the baby in the face with her phone or twisting and pinching the babies skin is ok?

Disobedience, really. I know the majoroty of you won't agree, but parents do have different levels of tolerance. Maybe I was wrong in saying that was totally fine and perhaos upon hindsight and re-watching that clip the baby dodn't deserve that...BUT parents do have only so much they can cope with and I did say that if it was a random attack she deserves the beating, really, but if the baby was really getting on her nerves ansd she broke down for a few minutes, I can understamd her actions. Maybe some cpunselling for her's needed in that case. But if the baby didn't do owt, I completely get the negative reaction and would have no sympathy for her, either.

Beating ANYONE is never acceptable especially a child.

She also did it infront of 2 other children who wernt upset so were obviously used to seeing it and the lady filming it and yet doing nothing needs some nice time behind bars.

To be fair, after re-watching it, I was way too harsh, but maybe the mum needs some help, really. That's the only way I can put it. If you don't want to accept, that's entirely up to you. I've said my piece and, to be honest, that may have been well too harsh on the baby.

Except that's the whole point, babies can't be disobedient, they observe the world and respond to everything around them. They are not yet able to think of their own behaviour.

I dont think you watched the video initaially and just commented with your views on beating children and now backtracking after watching the video and actually seeing how disgusting it is.

..I do agree that the woman needs help..whilst being imprisoned and kept from harming that child or any other..
