Brian: Older Housemates And Couples!
 

Brian Dowling has revealed that Big Brother 2012 may feature couples as housemates.


The BB host spoke to us earlier this month about the upcoming series, and gossiped on plans about the housemates.

As well as confirming they had all been chosen three weeks ago, Brian revealed: “The housemates will be varied in age, this year for sure they’re mixing up the age groups.

“I heard something about maybe couples going in, but people don’t know they’re couples… I’m not sure how that works!

“That would be amazing, and they had to pretend they weren’t couples, and had to get off with other people!”

But Brian also admitted that he didn’t want the series to get too rude and too focused on sex.

He said: “I don’t like it when it gets too rude, when Denise [Welch] was in the jacuzzi with her tits out, I thought that was funny, I didn’t think that was rude.

“But I don’t like it when, like Jay and Louise had that sex den. I don’t like it if it gets too rude.”

Oh no,I wouldn't like couples going in, I forget the guys name but they put a couple in and the Woman was called Lisa,they were really annoying and boring too.

It was as bad once they put Rex's girlfriend in too,later in the series. It is bad enough when housemates become couples like Ziggy and the Woman he got with.

Thank **** for the old housemates, but no couples please. And if so there should only be ONE couple and it shouldn't be part of a stupid twist like BB9.

Have they ever had brothers and sisters?....couples and twins yeah but siblings would be good, as their loyalty would be split as they nominate different people as individuals..Or even each other?...

they should do bb8 twist with putting there enemies in the house with them :D

Its like these idiots have never herd of or watched big brother before c5. Every twist they do has been done before and they speak of it as if its new. The wild card twist is even from when the presenter was in the house. :bored:

I don't mind the mixed age groups: if anything that always puts an interesting spin on things but no way for the couples thing.

You'd think they'd learn that couples are a disaster waiting to happen and a waste of what could have been 2 non 'related' good potential housemate places.

BB9 was the only odd numbered series to suffer a ratings drop. BB10 fared even worse.

Those are the 2 series that had pre-existing couple in them (though BB10's other halves were gone within days of their partners being evicted, which shows how pointless the whole thing can be).

Yeah, he was fast-tracked into BB via the Hamiltons Rolls-Royce then kept supplied with "perks" which were denied to the other HMs - as for his "quizzes", IIRC his answers to his own questions were more often wrong than right ..... :rolleyes:

And of course, last year we didn't have anyone at all that not only ruined the HMs food - on several occasions, but probably helped ruin the whole concept of BB and people being allowed to be safe in their living environment, thanks to his revolting hygience standards, threats of violence, aggressive behaviour. Yep... no younger hms ever do that eh.

I like the idea of a few older HM's, not to sure about couples.

I liked lisa but not mario, he was a bit creepy still say brothers and sisters would workbetter than couples.

they had sisters last year with faye and gemma. im older and in a couple and if we went in we certainly wouldnt be in bed all day we tend to bicker a lot lol

I hate the thought of couples. I seen the BB USA Valentine's Day special that aired in the UK a few years back on E4 and it was all about fake couples. Cue fake storylines and engagements. :(

I'm against all relations in the house - whether it's just friends, siblings, twins, couples or anything. The whole point of Big Brother is a group of strangers. Many of them being people who wouldn't necessarily meet each other on the outside.

Lisa and Mario were good. :blush:
