I miss Davina's dramatic opening line.

To be fair, it's not up to him. And I'd rather he did it than Brian, who would only deliver it wrong.

I don't hate the guy, I'm just not a fan of how much he over-emphasizes everything now.

I like Marcus, dont know why he gets so much abuse.

So do we. But he's became a parody of himself recently. And suddenly thinks he's the be all and end all of the show and should be involved in every single little aspect with his OTT voice - which is now just annoying.

Its better than having Brian jumping up and down in a wooden pose going "OMG BIG BRUV IS TOTES BACK, IM SO EXCITED ARE YOU?" -titles roll-

Actually, it was their idea for him to be involved more, they asked him to do the live voice over stuff just before CBB8, I remember him mentioning it on twitter when he was asked.

I'd prefer to have Marcus introduce the series with his epic voice than Brian reading off autocue (badly).

Marcus IS big brother....

Not the nutty hairy one...the geordie one...

Tbh I would rather Brian did it.

I'd also rather have Brian doing it.

As much as Marcus' voice is legendary and synonymous with Big Brother, he isn't Peter Dickson and shouldn't bother trying to imitate him. It works for XF, not BB.

Would be funny if Davina opened the show, and the titles came on - every viewer across the country just exploding with jizz and excitement that she's back.

And then it turned out it was pre-recorded that day, and Brian's still the host.

Is it something that can ruin the launch? No.

It has ruined episodes for me in the past.

Marcus wont only have the opening line but will also shout over the housemates entrance telling us all about their hobbies, habits, like and dislikes!

Davina had soome cracking good ones over the years.

If he was being honest it could be "If you think these are bad you should see the thousands we rejected".

How they love undermining Brian, Marcus' voice is getting too much these days - he REALLY needs to tone it down and stop hogging the limelight as much as I dislike Brian.

As much as i don't want it.. i'm not really bothered.

she was over the top in a really really good way! I actually used to think davina was really really drunk on every episode, she was that funny. God I love and Miss her, Do you think she will be watching tonight?

You make it sound like Marcus has the final say on what parts he voices and what he doesn't. They've obviously asked him to record this opening montage.
