Good point. It used to mean something as it used to be a list of stuff that was being said most, now it's just a list of stuff that's suddenly being mentioned more than earlier.

And yeah, Trending Topics mean nothing. BB12 dominated Worldwide on trending topics on launch night and the ratings weren't anything special.

The point is people may not know its on then see it trending.

That provide nothing to the ratings or overall hype of the show, which is a shame because they should be able to watch it there.

Hardly my favourites but its good that Frankie Cockozza and Amy Childs have tweeted about big brother tonight to 2 million people.

Trending for me in UK. Yes I know, doesn't have to be major to trend nowadays. But to agree with what Daniel said, if its trending it's definitely getting attention!

I'm expecting like 6/7 trends in the UK and a couple Worldwide tonight.

It'll trend, no doubt about that, but it really doesn't mean that much. Just a bunch of incredibly vocal fans expressing their thoughts on Twitter. Time will tell.
