Caroline's latest duel with Adam... Who won?
 

So Adam decided to try take on Cunning Caroline, probably wanting revenge for the last time he was destroyed. He bounds into the room, mutters some nonsense that nobody listens to then continues to shout "GROUP HUG". Caroline backs away, looks at him in disgust and then says something along the lines of "seriously, what are you doing". Thus leaving Adam standing there with his arms in the air, utterly destroyed. What's YOUR view?

Adam won. The look on her face was hilarious.

Caroline for me, he was really odd on tonights highlights.

Adam made her and the other bathroom bitching gang look like the sad, stupid bunch they are.
He scored an outright victory there.........no contest!!!!

There's a thread on this same subject on the DS BB forums and nobody on there is in the slightest doubt that Adam scored a major win with that one.

Is it that you're feeling bitter towards Adam because he's getting too close to your beloved Lauren maybe ?

Adam and Lauren sniggered to themselves after Caroline's bemused retort, so there must have been some private joke going on. Sarcasm was definitely involved. Adam knew what reaction he would get, therefore one to him on this occasion.

Definitely Adam, it was ****ing fantastic.:D

Before they went in he was saying to Lauren it must have been a major bitching session.
When he went in he said something like: That was great session guys! Group hug!!
Totally ironic and he showed them up as a bunch of grumpy stick-in-the-muds!

BTW I love the way Lauren snuggles up to all her friends in the house! SO CUTE!!!

No you missed her irony... She clearly knew he was being funny, but played him at his own game and just looked at him like he was a piece of s**t on her shoe. The only two people who 'got' Adams attempt were his friends, everyone else laughed AT him.

I think those that claim Adam win are rather desperately basing their arguments on the 'irony' aspect of things. I didn't see any irony, I just saw as InOne says, a man standing there broken and 'destroyed'.

I don't like it because I think Adam was trying to be genuine and certainly not ironic. But unfortunately, this is not friends reunited, it's a dog eat dog BB house.

Adam easily. That lot bitch and hate and give dirty looks while Adam acts friendly and showed her up when she returned his gesture with a filthy look and nasty tone, she may feel she won that round in there but who did in the long game and public eye? Adam.

Adam ripped the lot of them that were bitching about him a new one i cant believe people that couldnt see that would be able to function normally in modern society!(if they really believed that which of course they dont) it was obvious he was owning them.
You could see them and caroline in particular's egos crumbling in front of our eyes.
Im glad Adam stepped it up he was in full control of the cowards.

There was no "classic BB moment". I get what Adam was trying to do but he failed miserably. Me and fruity the only ones talking sense as usual.

Adam totally owned the insiders with just one small gesture and really showed them up and Caroline knew it - great moment imo.

No, you're not seeing the big picture Joe, it's what the viewers notice that's important.............not the other HMs and clearly we have. Job done.

Yes I get what the viewers noticed, but I just don't get why it's turned into this massive thing :joker:

because it was funny and made Caroline especially look more of a tool than usual, the timing was also great, just after a mammoth bitching session by the Insiders

She didn't really seem to come across as a tool though, she barely reacted and the other HM's completely ignored him.

Well I thought she came across like that and the others for ignoring him completely.

Was more of a cringe moment for me. But I guess I'm never gonna agree with an Adam fan :tongue:

There is only one other thread on this. You started this thread, and did the Poll, so dont blame others for turning into something massive, personally I think it was one of the better moments this series if you dont I really have no problem with that, but dont complain about it getting massive when you made the thread...
