It's not just Deana who is easily swayed

It seems some people on this Forum are. Someone who has had to put up with appalling bullying and intimidation, handled herself brilliantly and with great dignity but, because she can't see what we can see, is starting to doubt herself. Who can blame her after what she's been through?

I find nothing unusual in this whatsoever. But in the perfect world that some posters on here inhabit this is a now a crime - and she is "untrustworthy", Let me say this - I trust her a hell of a lot more than I do most people in there and that includes Lauren who has been quite willing to play both sides if she needs to.

I'd hate to have some people on this Forum as friends - do one thing wrong and history would be rewritten at a stroke to put you in a bad light all of a sudden. Quite incredible.

InOne 11-07-2012 10:52 PM

Nice, insult the forum memebers

Deana knew what she was doing and was definitely planting seeds. THEN hatching a plan with Shiv to set Lauren up. Her mask has slipped and it's worse than anything Lauren has done.

The truth may offend people but it has to be said. Who was it that had the guts to say openly to Luke S is his relationship with Ashleigh was fake? Deana of course. Noone else has - certainly not the gutless Adam, Luke A and Lauren group.

Beverley 11-07-2012 11:03 PM

Some/most people are ready to admit when they have misjudged a character. I made a post about Deana last night as a new member and was instantly mostly flamed for daring to call her sly etc. I wasn't expecting a mere 24 hours later for Deana to be proving my instincts about her correctly. The Conor matter was dealt with weeks ago. It's easy to bounce the 'bullying' term around but yet those who are not keen on her or have seen her in a new light, agree she's being sly or playing a victim, suddenly these posts are "so boring and old". Time to take the Deana blinkers off.

Maybe they just don't care? Deana only did it to score points. She also told Luke S about the protein shake out of pure spite for Arron.

Totally agree, such an over-reaction.

History being rewritten again. Luke S confronted her directly and so she defended herself. What would you do? Spinelessly cave in? I'm glad she fought back. It took a lot of guts.

She'd dug herself into a hole and had to get out of it. Her only choice was to be offensive.

Yep, it's now being made out this is a one off incident from completely out the blue but it isn't, it's a reflection of Deana's character and confirmed a lot of suspicions

She was forced into that position because Luke S was told what she said, it wasn't "having guts" it was her having been found out and forced into a corner

err..not at all. She could have lied and said she had never said it. Noone would have ever known either way. But she had the guts to fight back. History keeps being rewritten by some people that's for sure. Still if it suits your Agenda...

Deana tried lying her way out of not telling Shiv to "stop being silly", even repeating several times she hadn't said it, then Ashleigh confirmed she also heard her say it. If Deana keeps getting caught out in lies her sly tatic's won't work. That should be on replay if you want to ensure I'm not re-writing history.

Course they would have known she'd lied, because what she said had been reported to Ashleigh who then reported it back to Luke S

Lauren keeps bitching about the other group but she os never able to confrontate them.
I'm sorry but Lauren really does play both groups....you're just biased not to see that.

Inone, so now you are siding with the people that say Deana has been playing the victim and that she is sneaky because of one mistake? Lauren is my second fave but I wouldnt throw away all Deana has done just because of this.

Lauren is quite sneaky IMO.. But i understand shes your favorite and you arent being very objective at the moment

Nice to see that people are finally seeing Deana true colours. She hasn't been bullied at all. She's just playing the victim card. :nono:

Deana hasn't even been bullied. It was only that incident and Conor knows he was wrong. She's playing the victim big time! :nono:

Gaynor186 12-07-2012 07:10 AM

Throw away all she has done...? Take away the Conor rant (which she did not hear, but we did, which generated the enormous swell in popularity) and biting back with Arron and Luke S, what HAS she done??? Worries about her weight, worries whether she's made a right decision, shown NO loyalty to people who have befriended her and become a pawn of Shievonne.

Exactly. And she's such a great housemate? She's such a cold fish! :bored:

Redway 12-07-2012 07:17 AM

I disagree. I know Deana's been annoying and dull but I don't buy this 'She's only playing the victim card' argument.

She has been bullied on a few occasions and I fail to see how Conor using profane language at her, etc, can't be described as bullying because it is.

I don't like her but there's no point denying things that are clearly true.

I don't think it's bullying. Conor just doesn't like Deana.

It actually was bullying at some stage but as it is right now Conor simply doesn't like her.

I don't think so. Conor went way over the top, but calling someone names isn't bullying.

Tourmaline 12-07-2012 10:29 AM

"appalling bullying and intimidation"? BB would have been taken off air and have far too much to lose to allow any of that behaviour in the House. Some people really need to keep a sense of perspective instead of blowing things out of all proportion. We have to remember that everything we see is heavily edited in order to keep the viewers entertained (less than 45 minutes out of a 24 hour period).

I'm not a fan of Conor, in fact he's probably one of my least favourite HMs, but to be fair I think he does try and keep away from Deana and have little interaction with her whereas Deana loves an argument and does seem to be the instigator of most of them.

This is a game show and this year, more than most, every single one of them are playing it.

realitytvsux 12-07-2012 10:48 AM

Conor has definitely been bullying Deana. He hasn't spoken to her since the beginning of the show, he has muttered under his breath and snarled at her, he has encouraged others to nominate her.

Deana may have played up her victim role a bit, knowing it would create sympathy, but that doesn't change the fact that some of the others were out to get her.

Deana is not perfect and I think she has made a stupid mistake by listening to 'deranged' Siovenne but with the back biting and suspicious atmosphere in the house it's not surprising that she doesn't know who to trust anymore.

Insulting Forum Members is against the rules, so no it doesn't really. Can you just make your points about HMs without insulting FMs in the process please.

Niamh. 12-07-2012 10:56 AM

On topic, I like both Lauren and Deana so I was disappointed with Deana last night being all buddy buddy with Shievonne after all that stupid arguing yesterday but I do understand that it's probably very confusing in there and I think alot of them feel paranoid, especially with the likes of Shievonne making it worse.

He may keep away from her but he's always got her name in his mouth.

She gets told what's being said and so confronts him to find out what his problem is. Can't see much wrong in that

There's nothing wrong with that at all but it's hardly the actions of a 'bullied and intimidated' victim

Yayita 12-07-2012 03:34 PM

Oh no!! I think its happening.

BBUKLive: 3.33pm: Lauren and Deana are having a whispered conversation away from the group. BB asks them to turn their mics back up. #bbuklive

DEANA dont do it!!!

WozMan 12-07-2012 04:02 PM

Ì'm sorry but after this incident Deana is clearly a puppet. Whats worse she is more likely to believe some one who plants **** in her head about other housemates(Shiv) than some one who is genuinely nice to her and doesn't try to push her into doing things (Lauren).

I am greatly disappointed in the way she is conspiring against Lauren with deluded Shievonne :(

Considering all the so-called enemies she has already made, it is also a bit pathetic. If Lauren is guilty of anything, it is NOT standing up for herself, apart from if its ciggies or bacon that is! Deana and shievonne were at each others throats a DAY ago......as I SAY, PATHETIC.
