So the big question is- Olympics opening ceremony or BB Eviction?

Poll coming up-

BB faces tough competition on BBC1 on July 27th when at 9pm the Opening Ceremony to the Olympics will commence, be prepared for LOW ratings that evening!

Joe. 15-07-2012 11:44 AM

Jack_ 15-07-2012 11:57 AM

Hm, let's see...

Once in a lifetime event or a standard old BB eviction that could quite easily be recorded and watched later?

Yeah, the opening ceremony.

Haven't had interest in the Olympics for years, and never really watched any opening ceremoneys of anything (it's just a parade and silly stuff mainly).

Munchkins 15-07-2012 02:00 PM

Yes but not in the UK
when was the last time the Olympics were hosted in the UK?

WCR1942 15-07-2012 02:06 PM

As a great athletics fan I shall watch the eviction.
Opening ceremonies are not sport, just a waste of money put on for the 'want to be seen' people.

BigBrotherfan4ever 15-07-2012 02:12 PM

Not decided yet, I suppose it will depend who's up to be evicted.

64 years ago? thats twice a lifetime really....
Anyway if your just going to be watching it on TV and not attending its not a once in a lifetime thing, you can do that every 4 years

Joe. 15-07-2012 02:28 PM

I bet BB will be getting the lowest ratings of the series that night!

bbfan1991 15-07-2012 02:49 PM

Olympics. I watched most of Euro 2012 most days when BB was up against that too!

waterhog 15-07-2012 03:13 PM

this should be included in every Olympic - BB as it rules.

Saph 15-07-2012 03:19 PM

Not sure.. depends whos up for eviction

Blue Cadillac 15-07-2012 03:26 PM

Bored with the run up to the Olympics already. Have absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. Will be BB for me.

SharkAttack 15-07-2012 03:27 PM

Always watch recorded BB late at night when its more quiet anyway, so Olympics.

smeagol 15-07-2012 03:29 PM

sick of hearing about it already. i watch bb to avoid things like that. complete waste of money that olympic nonsence.

1948. BB will have to be recorded that night. Won't want to miss the opening ceremony. Although it does get a bit tedious in parts, and I can't see it as being as good as Beijing to be honest.

Saph 15-07-2012 03:30 PM

Did they even have TVs in the 1940s :conf:

JamesBond 15-07-2012 03:44 PM

BB is way more fun to watch.

I only watch the Olympics for the the races, don't care too much for the opening ceremony. If you really want to watch it later then im pretty sure it will be plastered all over YouTube.

Angus 15-07-2012 03:49 PM

I've got a ticket to the technical rehearsal for the opening ceremony at Olympic Park on 25th July, so I'll just record it on Friday and watch the eviction instead.

Iceman 15-07-2012 03:53 PM

Olympics.....by a LONG LONG shot.

Public television broadcasting started in the United Kingdom in 1936.

Yayita 15-07-2012 04:12 PM

Opening ceremony is just a parade of athletes and flags and some artistic ceremony. Id watch BB and review the ceremony on youtube later

Vodka Drinka 15-07-2012 06:30 PM

Erm, the Olympics. I bet BB will have dire ratings that night.

Marc 15-07-2012 06:33 PM

Olympics obviously.

Shaun 15-07-2012 06:33 PM

Genuinely concerned for the state of this country by this poll at the moment
