SCOTT Mason was given a roasting by Big Brother after threatening to slap Becky Hannon during a booze-fuelled bust-up.

The acid-tongued 21-year-old lashed out when Becky branded him an alcoholic for guzzling loads of booze during a pool party.

The history student reacted angrily to her claims that he was drunk and warned her: “I’d come over there and slap you if I was.”

He then launched into a major rant, storming: “I find people annoying. I’ve never heard so much sh*t in all my life. Just ******* off you tw*ts.”

When 19-year-old Becky told him he could be given a warning over his antics, he hit back: “It’s the truth, bitch. Just kick me out of the house.”

Scott was called to the Diary Room and reminded about the rules regarding behaviour in the house.

But while he escaped a formal warning, the lad is skating on thin ice.

He has already been reprimanded for alleged racist comments after he poked fun at Deana Uppal, 23, for eating with her hands, claiming she does it because she is Indian.

And he was told off for trying to get drunk by knocking back aftershave.

Meanwhile, Scott’s dreams came true as BB ordered the housemates to become party animals for the next three days.

Well I do think Chuffs right that the reaction would be a bit different if Conor said it or if it was said to Deana..

What are you on about? I learned all about Britney Spears' election as President and Jordan's Oscar nomination in the star. It's very informative

reece(: 25-07-2012 03:11 PM

BB bosses are desperate to keep them all in so will just give warning after warning:bored:

optimisticcynic 25-07-2012 03:13 PM

I think it's disgraceful that a bloke should threaten violence to a woman (yes, even Becky!). No ifs, and or buts. Fix up, Scott. Poor effort.

Agreed.

Jords 25-07-2012 03:15 PM

Probably just another made-up story.

smeagol 25-07-2012 03:17 PM

shame he didn't do it but that would be cruelty to animals.

scott is a weazle i woudn't take anythign he says seriously. especially the word slap, lot different to punch

optimisticcynic 25-07-2012 03:24 PM

I think Scott would struggle to replicate Conor's menacing demeanour, and it probably sounded like some cliche scene from Ugly Betty between Mark and the good-looking receptionist, but if it frightened Becky in any way, it requires an apology and some acknowledgment of what his behaviour represents.
Still not a fan of either of them.

MatthewS 25-07-2012 03:27 PM

Damn. If he actually slapped Becky he would have been an instant legend. Instead, he's still the same irrelevant floater he's always been. so close.

MrWong 25-07-2012 03:41 PM

Scott's lucky he wasn't given the boot.

However, this is BBxtra/TheDailyStar so it might be a load of gash.

Scott can't be taken seriously... and anyway she called him an alcoholic, Deana did nothing to Conor from what we saw. :pipe:

Are you really talking to me about double standards? Pot calling the kettle springs to mind.

Doogle 25-07-2012 03:45 PM

The difference between Conor and Scott is a lot. I think it's quite clear Conor would've hurt Deana, whereas Scott wouldn't be able to even poke Becky probably :joker:

MatthewS 25-07-2012 03:50 PM

Conor may be a lot of things, but we have no reason to think he'd actually beat a woman.....that's a massive stretch.

Niamh. 25-07-2012 03:54 PM

So basically final warnings mean **** all then?

HBB1508 25-07-2012 04:12 PM

I don't think it's double standards - if you put yourself in a girls shoes in the house - Scott threatening to slap you would make you wet yourself laughing as he is as ineffectual as a gnat, and he was drunk (not that it's an excuse just a fact),on the other hand if Conor threatened to punch you I think you would feel worried as the man looks menacing at the best of times and he wasn't drunk when he went off on the Deana rant.

sampvt 25-07-2012 04:58 PM

I am trying to rationalise this. On the one hand we have a jack the lad type who has no history of violence but in a rant he threatened to preform an act that was way past reality on all levels on someone well out of earshot and was at best a gobby and stupid thing to do but the girl was never in any danger based on the situation.

On the other hand we have a drunken gay man who who has a history who threatens to violate a girl TO HER FACE and BB decide to do nothing and the Deana deluded think Scotts actions were far worse. What planet are these people from. Both of them should be out here now no questions asked but to say Scott is naughty but conor is violent is way past logical.

Being inefectual because of size and demeanor is a BS comparison, ask the victims of Peter sutcliffe or Myra Hindley. Neither of them came across as burly and outwardly nasty. You only need to look at laura, small pocket rocket with a black belt. SCOTT SHOULDNT BE THERE . he should be out here on his dads sofe speaking normal again.

'Scott was called to the Diary Room and reminded about the rules regarding behaviour in the house.'

BB did exactly the same to him as they did to conor.

Anyway, IF this story is true, I wonder if we will see it. Have we seen any of scotts supposed other warnings? (besides the eating with her hands thing)

Vicky I thought they called conor in and gave him a formal warning. They also called Scott in and gave him a formal for insulting Deana. Were they both not on final warnings, that was my perception anyway. If so BB did nothing other than warn him but if he was already on his last full and final formal warning, they effectivle did nothing. Am I wrong here, just checking. This q is based on what has been reported, we are not even sure Conor was on a final formal but we saw BB give Scott his on the BOTS show.

Agree with this 100%

We had the same with Tom last year. he could threaten violence and act agressive (kicking things at people in a rage etc) but because he was small and scrawny noone cared. Whereas jay just had to look at someone the wrong way and people were screaming he was an agressive bully and should be thrown out...and I was by no means a fan of Jay either but it was unfair

I do think though, part of the reason people dont seem seem to be as wound up as with the conor thing is because they havent actually seen it like they saw that. There was pure venom in the way conor said it and he later admitted himself it was out of anger (not banter as some of his fans originally claimed). If this was shown (even just in a fb vid) and scott seemed very serious when he said these things, I would expect an uproar too. Its a bit hard to get upset at a story printed in the daily star, especially given their track record with BB. Obviously theres a few members who would only kick off if it was deana on the recieving end, but on the same note there are members who would play down anything that happened to deana while kicking off if te same thing happened to another housemate

I have only seen it in daily star articles that scott was on his final warning...I dont know if its been confirmed elsewhere?

And what we saw of conor, he got a slight ticking off. yeah BOTS claimed (after the outrage about him just getting slightly told off) that he recieved a formal warning...however I still believe if that did happen, we would have seen it...the same as we saw the formal warnings for racism each time.

Assuming scott was indeed on his final warning, and this story is true and they have just told him off this time, then yes, final warnings are useless.

smeagol 25-07-2012 05:15 PM

did anyone see the warning when scott drank the aftershave? i didn't even see him do it or the warning unless i missed it. ??

Hmm...its possible then that there is actually a bit of truth to these DS articles

As for it not being shown, maybe they thought it would attract a lot of complaints (people saying the hms arent looked after properly etc)

I dont know why I have so much faith in the producers to show us the full story after they completely covered up freezergate (and any convo relating to it) last year really :joker:

dyfed 25-07-2012 05:28 PM

When watching bots last night,Emma spoke to Scott's dad, they must be from different parts of the UK,as Scott and his Dad's accent was so different.....
