Sandra has said her strategy is to play the game two or three days at a time, and not think long term. I just can't get behind or like someone who thinks that way

Let me just address these all in one sweep.

No, he's not. If he was the best ever, he would've won by now. He hasn't won and he'll never win.

As if sneaking about is a bad thing. But besides, Parvati definitely did not deserve to win. She was her own undoing and shot herself in the foot.

Why not? There's no point about planning Day 39 when you're on Day 1. It's not a straightforward game at all. Twists are thrown about, power shifts, people get lucky. Sandra's approach clearly works, otherwise she wouldn't have won twice.

And how was the Jury stupid? Would you give a million dollars to someone you hate?

Russell came on Survivor to show us all "how easy it is to win" and "how simple the game is" and apparently the first step is to treat your tribemates like ****. He'd burn socks, dump out water, make up lies about surviving Katrina for no reason, and then create his "dumbass girl" alliance (but the great thing is that one of these "dumbass girls" outplays him in the end /spoiler) and act like a strategic deity. But really all he would do is make alliances with people and then vote them out the same round and have confessionals about how "I'm Russell Hantz! I'm the best to ever play the game!"

Until right before the merge he had the chance to vote out his biggest threat of a dumbass girl and acknowledged that she would be a Jury threat, but for some reason figured that it would help. How precious. So then Russell continued to make enemies and stupid moves, waste Hidden Immunity Idols, and then get completely owned in the end by his very own "dumbass girl" in a landslide vote. The end.

Oh wait, Russell is brought back for Heroes vs. Villains. But it's more or less the same, just amplified. Russell pisses everyone off, just a lot more than he did before. Russell makes stupid moves, a lot more than he made before. Russell overlooks the "dumbass girl" who actually completely owns him throughout the game, even more hilariously than his first season. So then Russell goes on the Reunion shows, cries about how he's the best player to ever win the game and preaches how the game is broken and America should vote, despite us seeing ~43 minutes over a 72 hour period and despite Russell "admiring and respecting the game that he loves so much."


And then for Brandon, he was edited to be a psycho nutcase. He randomly picked this one girl and wanted to get her voted off because he didn't want to be tempted by her (even though he was married) and went on some crusade about how she was the ***** of Babylon or whatnot. He was just a heaping mess of moral dysfunction but he wasn't nearly as bad as his uncle. Hilariously enough, cast interviews show that he was actually popular among camp and had a chance to win :joker:

:bored: the jury cannot make a stupid decision - it's the job of the finalists to get to the end whilst securing the votes of the jury members. Sandra accomplished this; Parvati and Russell ignored the securing jury votes part. Sandra wins.

Russell is easily one of the greatest Survivor players ever. Anyone saying not is just a hater that lacks objectivity.

Alright then, let's speak objectively. Dumb moves Russell has made include, but are not limited to...

-Voting off Liz over Natalie after acknowledging that Natalie's a jury threat
-Not keeping his first HII secret in Samoa, which forced him to play it ASAP
-Going to the end with Mick and Natalie instead of Jaison and Shambo
-His whole "social game" if you can even call it that

-Playing his HII on Parvati instead of himself when Tyson was voted off
-Voting off Coach and Courtney instead of Sandra before the merge
-Wasting a HII just to spite Parvati
-Actually believing the rock in Rupert's pocket and then doing a poor job of splitting the votes by targeting Candice
-Voting Danielle off
-His even worse "social game," which we all thought was impossible to regress

LOl Drunk, I like Russell in survivor, even though he never won you have to admit Sandra was so boring!!! To this day I am shocked at how she has won twice!

Russell is obviously a legend, in general I probably like more winners of the audience vote in seasons I liked than the losers/jury vote anyway.

Sandra was pretty boring for me. She won more through fortuitous circumstances than anything. First time round Lil made a typical stupid Survivor move in taking Sandra to the final 2. Sandra being a weak player (crap at challenges) tended to slide by while the focus was on other bigger threats.

Totally, I remember I couldnt even watch her face on screen.. so boring!

How is Sandra boring :conf: She made Pearl Islands and HvV for me, and I've always considered her one of the most entertaining Survivor contestants of all time. She was a potty-mouthed, argumentative, sassy bitch and her casual domination of two seasons was a joy to watch... in a sexual way.

What? Russell's one of the most static characters in Survivor history. How can you say Sandra's boring when every week we could get "I'M RUSSELL HANTZ! I'M THE BEST EVER AT THIS GAME" confessionals. He was the same every damn week for two back to back seasons and it was boring and actually draining. Meanwhile Sandra's comedy gold and is the furthest thing from boring. There shouldn't be shock as to how she won twice, but since people on this board only seem to care about big flashy moves despite how self-destructing they can be, I guess I can see how she gets overlooked.

Are you joking? The only thing Russell is legendary for is helping ruin what Survivor has become.

And once again, Sandra is not boring. That's pretty much fact. Another fact, you don't win by accident twice. Neither of her wins were an accident. She's probably the most efficient player at the "as long as it isn't me" strategy because she's always able to have someone ahead of her as the target. You can still be a good player without being good in challenges. People tend to not respect "under the radar" games for whatever reason, but they're easily the most effective and garner the best results.

Thank god someone else gets it. Sandra's one of the funniest people to ever be on Survivor.

SHe was funny , but people were laughing at her, not with her. everyone underestimated her because she was so stupid. That doesn't make her a good player, that just makes her a lucky idiot. She did nothing that anyone can consider smart or talented in the game, she was just so incompetent that no one thought she was a threat.
