Confidence or arrogance
Is Deana confident or just arrogant. Personally I think it is a bit of both. She has gained confidence because her long time nemesis has gone and this new found situation is showing her actions as somewhat aggressive and arrogant.
She no longer has the Victim cards to play as the HM,s in there are either weak or non aggressive and those storylines are played out, so she has had to kick it up a notch to keep the airtime going. Having a go at Luke s was planned and funny but the dizzy do with ash over the toast wasnt and we saw the true Deana, nasty and quite aggressive. Over the last few weeks we have all seen that she is well capable of spitting venom and no doubt she will continue because I honestly believe that somehow she has either been told, or she believes herself, that the way to win is to go aggressive. What she dosent realise is that there is a fine line between aggressive and funny behaviour and Bullying. The great British public love to support the underdog, especially one that is being victimised, but they can also turn in a heartbeat and go against those that show these traits if they change tact and get uncovered for being an actress with aims that contradict their earlier views. Deana kicked of the season with a strong plan which included her being righteous and butter would melt attitude and won a lot of hearts even if these reasons were self manufactured, BUT NOW, she is acting like Rambo and many of her followers are voicing concerns as to whether they were conned. Once that starts, she will loose support quicker than a rabbit down a hole. Her arguments with ash and Luke s and even Scott are low profile, wait till she butts heads with Luke a..........the public will then turn and she is toast. Problem is she knows this and it may not happen as she is good and very calculated. Now I can wait for the one liners like....loads of words saying nowt......total crap......Bull****, you know the likes that the Deana army post. lol, so predictable. |
Arrogant from the night she walked down the stairs

If you think it's a bit of both why just concentrate on one side, go on I dare you to give us a two paragraph reply on the confident side you believe her to have.

You are correct , she was indeed victimised. It's a shame you don't know the difference between assertive and aggressive behaviour though. |
Am I supposed to take her being branded 'arrogant' seriously?

how many deana hate threads do u need.
is this a kids forum or something. |
I'm sure Deana feels she is now ruling the house.Somewhat deluded me thinks.
|
Confidence - she can finally say her views and argue with someone one on one, rather than having to relay a discussion to Conor and Becky, and have them down her throat
She can be her self without having to worry :) |

If You think she is confident, post your own thoughts or start your own thread instead of undermining mine. :xyxwave: |
People who have a problem with Deana's confidence imo tend to be men who think women should shut up or stepford women who believe their inferior to men.

I stopped reading OP at "victim card" because i'm sick of that bull**** being thrown left, right and centre. This irrational hate is just getting OTT now.
|
Well she inspires more lure, scrutiny, fascination, analysis, consideration, magnetism power than the other H/ms. So I get the compulsion.
|
She has been hit with the Freddie curse of knowing she's popular. Now she thinks she can drop the mask and just ride it out being a complete idiot. She is very much mistaken.

Closed for Cleaning, can I ask everyone to stick to discussing the topic and not eachother when I reopen it please.

Dean arrived in the house already fully formed, self-aware and confident. Lydia, Benedict and Victoria were in the same bracket but they have all gone, sadly. Deana has made her allies and bided her time; she chooses her time to speak and her enemies very well. In addition, she's natural, occasionally ratty and sometimes doesn't give a *******, I honestly don't think she's that worried about winning, which is why she possibly will.

It's just all the whooping babboons that leapt about screeching at each other everytime she opened her mouth have left....conor the silverback and his parasitic followers arron, caroline and becky. We still have ash grooming luke S squeezing his spots and leaving chunks of his fur everywhere marking their territory...Once those two chimps have left the savannah peace will be restored. |

Without a shadow of doubt it's arrogance, if you watch the launch show again you will see her looking everyone up & down as they enter the house, I feel & still do since launch night Deana thinks that all the HM's are beneath her, & nothing will change my mind about that.

Not to mention the fact she had a task which forced her to nominate 3 people on first impressions. |

HMs need to take responsibility for their own feelings and stop trying to foist them upon someone else. If this is the case.
Deana cannot inspire a feeling of less simply by observing someone. That someone has to feel less in the first place. |

She had to try and pick faults in people, so she could nominate them immediately shows shes a nice person as she genuinely found it hard to find reasons to nominate on If she judges people easily, she should have found it easy? |
I think Deana is very confident and that's coming out more lately since Conor and Becky left. I'm loving her new attitude, yeah she went a bit too far with Luke S (eventhough it was quite funny) but atleast she recognised that and apologised to him, which is alot more than could be said from others like Conor and Ashleigh who never apologise for anything.

I couldn't be bothered to read your essay but in answer to your question, being saved from eviction has given a nice girl a tremendous amount of confidence. She has sobered up now and any questions over arrogance I might have had in my mind have long gone
|
From playing a victim card to being an arrogant cow :joker: :joker: :joker:
|
Neither. She has always been confident but felt oppressed by the verbal bullies. Now she is simply feeling free to express herself. Well done Deana!
