How much pleasure is Julian giving you so far?

I really want to get behind Julian and see a bit more of him, but so far he's showing me a different side to him which is surprisingly vulnerable and tender. I guess I'm gonna have to make do with what he's got to offer and get on with it.

What do you guys think?

GypsyGoth 29-08-2012 12:11 AM

I liked when he did the innuendo story and he was adorable with his dogs, but other than that I haven't been too fond of him.

Locke. 29-08-2012 12:12 AM

Seeing him go down on the dog was almost as disturbing as Julie and the banana

Mrluvaluva 29-08-2012 12:12 AM

Oh the innuendo!

Shaun 29-08-2012 12:14 AM

I've never found it hard to get into Julian.

alex_front2 29-08-2012 12:14 AM

Julian needs tasks to be interesting eg

Talent agency
Duck pedalo
Bedtime story

And he needs prompting on comedy -when Ash n Harvey asked him about his stand up career.

Jamie585 29-08-2012 12:16 AM

The Bed time story has been my highlight of this series so far!!

Lucky you!:D

Juliens great....but the entertainment (or so BB thinks) is in the fake romances...hence all we get is Danica/Situation/Lorenzo/Ashley and Rhian. Julie gets a look in because she is mothering them all.

Withano 29-08-2012 12:45 AM

If he made sitting on a duck pedalo entertaining, let's agree he's great. What a terrible argument to use against him!
He's been my favourite since day one. He's made me laugh more than double everybody else put together.
I thought I'd get bored of dirty innuendos but there is so much more to his character. Love him.

I thought you'd notice them too.

julian is the biggest disappointment in the house. the man has no backbone whatsoever, he goes with the crowd, shows no heart , emotion, empathy, hopelessly judgemental and narrow minded too.

Mystic Mock 29-08-2012 12:51 AM

I really like Julian, he makes me laugh and is a good escape from the showmances this series.

the showmances are rubbish I agree, but julians been way too mean spirited cold and anti american bordering on bigotry/ I hate it too when gay people feel they have the right to discriminate against hetrosexual men , as julian does and as the bald an was on cbbbots earlier. he was revolting

Mystic Mock 29-08-2012 12:54 AM

I don't know about the females though, Rhian might want a bit of him but im not sure if she's got the right anatomy for him lol.

harmonyjack 29-08-2012 12:55 AM

When he was working out with Harvey, it was so funny and very cute. When Ash and Harvey asked him to do some stand up for them, Julian it wouldn't be appropriate for big brother lol

jet 29-08-2012 12:59 AM

I really like Julian on the outside - but he's not what I thought inside the house. He has had some good moments - I loved the bedside story and some of his one liners, but there is something sly about him I can't put my finger on. It might be that he is just guarded...I don't know. I'd like him to be more open and show more personality - maybe he would if we got rid of the showmance stuff.

Yes, who is that twat? Revolting indeed.

alex_front2 29-08-2012 01:05 AM

Hate to say it but Julie is way way funnier. Shes had some cracking one liners.

julie has been absolute gold. yea shes playing the game a bit, ixing it up a bit, but crikey shes been funny as hell and the dramatics are classic....corrie is the best show ever, period and frankly any legend off there would win this show

we demand corrie legends every year please:wavey:

Josy 29-08-2012 01:17 AM

He was really funny at the beginning, he seems to have taken a back seater since being up for eviction though, or maybe it's just because we havent been shown much of him in the highlights lately

I still like him though.

ConnieLingus 29-08-2012 01:35 AM

I'd love to give Julian a ring sometime...my own.

Pretty boring. Not as funny as I was hoping after launch night.

At least when he makes a quip, it's funny.

Quality over quantity.

I do agree that he has disappointed though. Looks to be avvoiding any drama, to keep himself below the radar. Sh ite, cowardly tactics.

Sophiee 29-08-2012 04:54 AM

I find him very funny and a nice break from all the showmance stuff, as that becomes rather tedious quickly. I like him more than I originally thought I would so I'm impressed he's managed to convert my opinion of him.

Cherie 29-08-2012 06:42 AM

Shame we dont see more of him, I like his one liners, but he could ease up on the innuendo its very carry on...and stay away from Julie ...shes not even remotely funny.

Angus 29-08-2012 07:14 AM

Julian is lovely - the only disappointment is that he's not given enough air time. Instead we're being force fed the tediously pathetic antics of the immature kiddiwinks.

Gillian-73 29-08-2012 07:25 AM

I really like him he makes me laugh.

waterhog 29-08-2012 08:25 AM

funny with dignity.

joeysteele 29-08-2012 08:31 AM

I like Julian and find him funny, even when she is saying nothing, his expressions and looks often convey possibly what he is thinking.
Knowing his humour it is easy to imagine what he's thinking and maybe would love to say.

Once he does say something and do something then it really is entertaining. He's a really good housemate and he and Julie have had me laughing most at this series.

HBB1508 29-08-2012 08:41 AM

I absolutely love Julian - I think out of all of them he is being himself in there - no stand up comedy a few bits of innuendo, but who in their daily lives doesn't do that - I know I do!! I just don't feel we are being shown enough of his funny bits though - as said above it's all about the flipping showmances, I guess BB have to get their money's worth by showing the occasional table all the time I guess his fee was enormous - ohhh er misses.

daniel-lewis-1985 29-08-2012 09:42 AM

Hes slightly boring tbh.

I loved him before he entered and im still supporting him but im just waiting for him to show that same guy as he was on launch night.

Vanessa 29-08-2012 10:01 AM

He's been a bit quiet lately. But i still like him.

showtime77 29-08-2012 02:29 PM

I like Julian's sense of humour sometimes but I have gone right off him as a house mate. He told Dancia that he didn't like that others were making moral judgements about her.I remember Julian saying how he admires girls like Danica for being hard and doing what they want to guys to get what they want. I don't want to support anyone who thinks like that.

he is bigotted against hetrosexual men, sadly like many gay people.

Nedusa 29-08-2012 03:06 PM

I have always liked Julian Clary and when he was first presented to the audience on launch night I posted a new thread asking if he would make the show a memorable CBB.

Well after 11/12 days in there I am a bit disappointed with him as he really has not been involved in any of the shows main storylines. He's been on the periphery most of the time and his comedy one liners have been few and far between. We know this guy can deliver wonderful comedy moments but thus far none have been forthcoming.I just hope he wakes up and realises he needs to start getting involved ..Now..!!!

I think he could still win CBB but much more effort is now required....!!!

Julian has been really withdrawn and Harvey was right when he said Julian was " Playing it safe" Unlike Julian I don't admire women like Dancia . The fact that he would say that makes me feel there is a basic level of decency and morals that he lacks. He won't be getting my vote to win CBB:nono:
