Would you prefer Teen BB or Celeb Hijack to return rather than have 2 CBBs a year?
I'm finding CBB10 worth watching but think CBBs are more suited to January, after BB13 this series seems like a let down, and having 2 Celeb series within a year makes the celeb version become overkill. Rather than have 2 CBBs a year would you rather Channel 5 bring back Teen BB or Celeb Hijack? Obviously more mainstream than they originally were.
In case you're unfamiliar with them, Teen Big Brother replaced CBB in 2003, had eight 18 year old HMs competing for a round-the-world holiday. The series lasted 10 days but was pre-recorded in August following BB4 and broadcast as 5 episodes on Channel 4 in November. The HMs decided who should be evicted. Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack replaced CBB in 2008, had twelve exceptionally talented 18-21 year olds competing for £50k. The series lasted 26 days and saw a different celebrity take over the role of BB and set the HMs tasks each day. It was broadcast on E4. |
I'd love another Celebrity Hijack :worship:

Yes!!!!!!!! I'd love to see BB:CH make a return, absolutely loved the original one, found it quite underrated in the sense no one really cared about it when it was such an amazing series. I would so love to see another one :worship:

Celebrity Hijack was very boring. Teen BB would be good but there'd be too many hormones flying about
|
Yeah another CH would be good, the way they did Teen BB sounds pretty sh*t so I'm not bothered about that

Are you not entertained?

never

Celebrity hijack with Natalie Cassidy and the towie lot sounds like a brilliant idea.

I'd love C:H to make a return, from what I saw it was great.
You'd just get Amy Childs, Natalie Cassidy and other bellends though taking over. :bored: |

I'd like to see a return to a wider range of contestants in the mainstream BB. Confining the age group to mainly 20-30 year olds limits the appeal of the show. This is one of the reasons why the CBBs are such successful shows - the mix of ages and experiences means a far more interesting show.
|
That's the thing though you got bigger names in Celebrity Hijack because they didn't have to go in the house, they just had to be Big Brother for a day, that's why I'd much rather see that because it was just so good the first time.
|
I'd prefer for them to stick with the previous schedule, just having Celebrity Big Brother once a year. Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack was one of the worst series ever and I struggled to keep watching until the end, and I didn't like not having a public vote on Teen Big Brother.

Hijack by a million miles. Teen was crap.
I'd even rather have another BB Panto before another Teen series. |

Hijack was really dull imo, so Teen BB. Anything is better than two CBBs though.

Little Liam jerking off under his Duvet and Joan Rivers yelling at him about it? it was great. :joker: |
We basically have Teen BB already with the maturity and intellect of the standard housemates.
Celebrity Hijack with actual talented youngsters > random teens |

I'd rather have two CBBs than either of those back.

The way Teen BB was run sounds horrific. I'd say do teen BB but have the public voting.

If you wanna watch Teen BB just watch BB AUstralia.

Although as Jordan just pointed out - they would never get celebrities as interesting as Russell Brand, Matt Lucas, Dermot O'Leary, Joan Rivers, Roseanne or the Sugababes again. |

Yeah I suppose if they can bag Pamela Anderson and the Situation there's hope of a few decent US names... but I'm concerned about the British ones :p Jedward would be an inevitability.

I'd be less concerned with a Channel 5 version of UBB if they ever did that |

Just had a thought that maybe BB:CH could boost the viewing figures for regular BB by reminding the general public that the civilian series can be entertaining. If its only on for 3/4 weeks it won't seem as long as dragged out, the viewers can dip in to see which celebs are involved and follow the civilians as it progresses. And because the first Celeb Hijack was almost 5 years ago and quite low key, Channel 5 could really big it up as something fresh, polished and exciting. If about 5 million people tuned in to see what changes Channel 5 offered BB for the CBB8 launch, I think it could get similar figures for a revamp of Celeb Hijack
