“The boys are blameless”
Tonights interviews were very revealing.
Mike known for drinking, fighting and womanising, along with a 40 year old playboy, were completely blameless in Samantha’s eyes. And Ash, who acted out of bruised ego, did nothing wrong. She had no problem dismissing Rhians feelings, making fairly nasty statements about Danica and sticking her fingers down her throat about Coleen. Yet Rhian earlier in the week, during her interview, came across very well. While Danica was very gracious tonight, even when she was told that Samantha called her poisonous. Its obvious that Samantha made her judgements based on personal bias and allowed for nothing else. When those that are being the most critical, are being nasty too. And those that are being criticised are being respectful. Then you have to question who's really in the wrong. |
She was full of **** tonight
|
....completely agree.
Sam came across as a bitter lady who couldn't back down, even after defending Ashley as being blameless...most people can see she is trying to be controversial but also that she has to be right. Danica, on the other hand...wow...her reaction to being told Sam called her poison was incredible (I don't think I could have held back from saying something) ...she acted graciously and with respect...she's gorgeous IMO |
Welli havn't seen Mike do anything that he deserves blame for, other than the cheating with the noms thing. But with Danica, I don't think he did anything wrong.
I think Ashley was totally different, Ashley was being a bit of a bully towards Rhian, but I didn't see Mike ever do that. I was really surprised by her support for Julie. |
Sam is a ridiculous, simpering, twat.
Ashley can't be blamed because he's an olympian? No wonder she's a Daily Heil journo with reasoning like that. |
Delusional. But what a woman
|
Glad Mr Burns is back to the power plant tbh
|
I was sat open mouthed whilst she said that too, he's an 'olympian' so what?...
The woman totally contradicted her own stance on women, as in her original 'controversial' article she inferred that older less attractive women were jealous of her? Er, hate to say this sam but yourself and julie fall into this catagory. Vanessa feltz was brilliant in her summation of sam, as was colleen when she branded her a 1950's housewife... Couldn't have put it better myself...Oh wait, I did :) |
When she said "Ashley is an olympian this is the year of the olympics so is blameless" i couldn't believe what i was hearing, nor could Emma

she stuck to her guns women demand people to speak their minds. so she does and women dont like it, because her opinion differs from theirs. the boys were single danica and rhian were not so theyre 100% in the right , theyre 100% in the worng period, end of. |

What a complete idiot The comment about Ashley being blameless due to the olympics and him being an olympian ?? Total fool Bet she is thinking today "why the hell did I say that" :joker: |

Samantha came across as rather pathetic IMO. Its like she has transported here from the 1950s. While the girls may have had their faults, Samantha reveals a lot about herself by clearly hating independent women who do not bow down to men. And her love for Julie seems based on Julie's hate for other women. Samantha IS typical of the housewives at home who have only voted women off this show. And I say all this as a male chauvinist pig. lol

shes a successful woman with a great career, happy marriage, happy home, shes skilled talented, caring and a damn fine wife and cook, plus a successful writer who has the guts to speak her mind and to look also at the male point of view and the discrimination men suffer, just as much as women. equality works both ways |

I worry.. I really do, what example is this to our sons and young men? That they can accuse women of 'leading them on' hound them for attention even after being politely told that they are involved with other men?...It's just weird.

I don't think Rhian did much of anything wrong other than being too attractive.
Danica repeatedly went over the line but I don't think she realizes that she does, however she isn't blameless. The two boys run themselves into brick walls repeatedly and get sympathy for it? There aren't many situations where you can do something stupid and harmful to yourself and people don't tell you that you are stupid and blame you for your own problems. Must be nice to be a man. Women today still get blamed for their own rapes. Men are still excused for bad behavior far too often. |

Vernon Kaye is a prime example, he got off rather lightly considering he was in his 30s, and had the wife and kids. Rhian was 20 and had her head turned by his attentions, she was the one that got berated and belittled for it. Case closed. |

julie and ashley are too imo.. One for being an aged soap actress and one for lastin 4 mins in the olympics!...:conf: It's all wrong, why are others judged as 'mere mortals'?... Sams sycophantic chunterings are all to common, if ashley has shot rhian sam would have said she threw herself under the bullet! |
samantha was 100% right. women and feminists need to finally realise equality works both ways and we are all sick of the anti male abuse and sexism.
