He could have won this hands down...

...but his relationship with Jule I fear will have cost him the win.

Agreed and the irony is rustic Julie herself could have won this easily too,I liked her at first, but the daft old fool has been herself and unfortunaely it's not very nice:joker:

chuff me dizzy 03-09-2012 09:57 PM

Totally agree, he will kick himself when he knew how close he was,but my hooking up with the Soggy Gusset he lost it

flamingGalah! 03-09-2012 09:59 PM

I still think Julian stands a good chance...

I think so, its not as if he followed her lead...he kept his own counsel and he has been a good friend, who else would he have paired up with in the house? They have been a good combination and he managed to talk her down when she was looking like really losing it tonight....Julie obviously doesnt do irony, either that or she has genuinely forgotton her role in getting other HMs evicted.

So do I, he stands as much a chance as any of those left in the final. And a win for Julian is a win for Julie too :D

Patricia4 03-09-2012 10:08 PM

He will still win.

reece(: 03-09-2012 10:08 PM

He's still going to win, I've believed this through since day 1

Apple202 03-09-2012 10:12 PM

Yeah he'll probably win. It's between him and Colleen anyway, as Colleen is looking likely to pull an Ulrika.

Livia 03-09-2012 10:18 PM

Julian is still my favourite. It's not like he's colluded with her. She's very much latched on to him, not the other way around.

I really hope Coleen doesnt do it, she has been quite sly at times under the guise of saying it how it is....she still hasnt said it how it is to Julie to her face, she didnt have to be mean she could have sat her down and outlined her annoyances....

BBfan46 04-09-2012 12:00 AM

Julian or Coleen will win.

Martin will finish a 'shock' 4th. Harvey will be 6th, Ashley 5th and The Situation will finish 3rd

That hasn't cost him the win at all.

His determination not to be contoversial, or use his obvious razor wit on other housemates, has cost him.

In short, it's his cowardice in not using his greatest attribute that will cost him...he should have fired both barrels every day (as situations arose), and he would have walked it.

Silent Scream 04-09-2012 12:06 AM

Julian should win unless by some miracle Julie survives the double eviction on Wednesday.

I agree. :xyxwave:

Truth Teller 04-09-2012 12:29 AM

I disagree. The fact he has been genuine and stayed true to himslef will endear him to the viewer.

He hasn't followed the pack mentality.

Being true to himself would have seen him chop the hypocritical idiots in the house down with the edge of his tongue.

So he hasn't been genuine, has he?

(I still like him though).

Madmacs 04-09-2012 06:29 AM

...I think he can still win too...far from detrimental, his caring, protective stance with Julie has been endearing (everyone could do with a loyal friend like Julian)

waterhog 04-09-2012 08:44 AM

to stand up to julie - deserves mass respect. he s my winner.

Bojangles 04-09-2012 08:53 AM

Julies ham acting in the diary room last night, pretending to cry whilst saying "I just want to get to the final."Didn't wash with me.I think she knows she a gonna.

HBB1508 04-09-2012 09:11 AM

I think he will win - he has been himself his wit is still there but he's not acting a stage show so doesn't need to keep it up 24/7 - he's helped Julie and been a friend when needed. I hope Julie goes on Wednesday so we can get a bit more of Julian for the last couple of days.

Kazanne 04-09-2012 09:18 AM

I really like Julian but do think his closeness with her is stiffling his chances, his own persona is dragged down by her ,feeling he has to look after her,Julian I feel is holding back ,I think we could have seen much more from him had she not have latched on to him.She always drags him into her nasty backstabbing which sometimes he seems to feel uncomfortable with,I wouldn't mind Julian winning but fear she has not helped.

Patricia4 04-09-2012 09:52 AM

Julian is still my favourite.

Sophiee 04-09-2012 10:03 AM

I agree, I think it's one of the factors that may prevent him winning, although I've gone off him lately, not sure why.

He is still mine... I guess he has just listened and not agreed or shown any of her characteristics... I just hope the public see that aswell.

realitytvsux 04-09-2012 11:45 AM

Julian has been and still is my favourite to win. I think he has been a very toned down version of himself and I would have liked him to have been more spikey but he has been his own person unswayed by the waves of malice in the house. If anything his consistency with Julie shows him in a good light. Despite the fact that she has proved to be a proper cactus granny I would not have liked to see her completely isolated by the pack.

Niamh. 04-09-2012 11:56 AM

I don't think his friendship with Julie will be his downfall, he has stayed his own person but I do think the fact that he's been quite boring has ruined his chances.

Brother Leon 04-09-2012 12:01 PM

More that he's been boring and dull in there.

It's been so thriling watching Ashley & Harvey hasn't it? ;).

Brother Leon 04-09-2012 12:17 PM

Well. Along with Mike they have been funnier than the guy who is supposed to be a comedian :idc:

Certainly done more aswell.

Black Dagger 04-09-2012 12:25 PM

How have Ashley & Harvey been funny in any-way.

People laugh at how pathetic they are, not because they are amusing.

And I can barely remember anything Ash/Harvey have done, bar Ash cry like a bitch and snitch on Nana Julie.

Then again the series has been dreadful anyway, might as well crown one of them winner.

Ellen 04-09-2012 12:55 PM

Julian can still win, apart from Julie & Mike the rest are just boring. He gets on well with her & they have a laugh.

Fosse 04-09-2012 02:34 PM

Sadly, he may still win it.

Not because he's particularly popular, just the least bad option.

I still don't get just why he thinks he's better than other people, though; this superior attitude of his annoys me.

Why sadly? :conf: And the only one in there with a superior attitude is Martin.

Fosse 04-09-2012 02:37 PM

I don't like the dick..he reminds me of Stephen Fry - a dimmer version...

Seriously? You don't think Julie "howDareTheyNominateMe" Goodyear has a superior attitude?

Fosse's post was about Julian, not Julie though wasn't it? :conf: That's what I was replying to, about the Julian post.

Yeah but you said "the only one in there" so I assumed you were saying Martin was the only HM in the whole house with a superior attitude, but I don't think he's any where near as bad as Julie

Fosse 04-09-2012 02:46 PM

Julian does have a superior attitude, evinced quite handily by his remarks re The Situation and Lorenzo.

Julie also has this attitude, Martin I'm not sure about, but none of them deserves to win, they're all crap.

The only thing I remember about Ashley, besides his morning erection, is the horrible treatment that he gave to Rhian when he found out that she had a BF, and as he was afraid of looking like a knob on tele, he made Rhian look like a knob bigger than his own instead.
