My cat is stuck in a tree.

I know it's a very cliché thing to happen, but she's done this 2 times before. The tree is much taller than my house and we can't even spot her in it, we only know she is there because she is crying so loud, it's so distressing. :bawling: My mother rang the emergency services and they said that nobody cares about rescuing a cat at this time of night.

Josy 04-11-2012 12:54 AM

Can you not take some cat biscuits outside or something to entice it down?

lostalex 04-11-2012 12:54 AM

Amazon.com search: tranquilizer guns

Munchkins 04-11-2012 12:55 AM

I really hope you manage to get her down soon, poor little thing :(

We tried food and she usually runs to us like Usain Bolt if we wiggle a bit of ham but that didn't even work.

Did your mum ring the emergency number? if so can you not trying just ringing the fire station instead and speaking to someone there

King Gizzard 04-11-2012 01:01 AM

Play dog noises

You gotta ring the emergency number to be put through to the fire station. :S

Josy 04-11-2012 01:12 AM

The fire station should also have its own number, not the emergency one or at least ours does.

lostalex 04-11-2012 01:14 AM

it'll get hungry eventually.

MTVN 04-11-2012 01:20 AM

Got a ladder or something you can stick against the tree for it to climb down?

Hopefully it'll come down eventually anyway, my cats done stuff like that a few times

Mrluvaluva 04-11-2012 01:58 AM

No surprise really, probably because it had been on the end of your wrath after many West Ham defeats

It's true that domestic violence goes up during football matches.

Novo 04-11-2012 04:47 AM

And a recent survery suggests that Cats take the full blame in many cases over Women

Novo 04-11-2012 04:49 AM

Probably having the time of her life up there

lostalex 04-11-2012 04:49 AM

I ran away from home once. It was exciting.

SharkAttack 04-11-2012 06:21 AM

If the claws are clipped, I *might* suggest climbing the tree to help kitty down in a pillowcase, but ...skittish. http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/p...tial/crazy.gif I wish you luck. :)

Josy 04-11-2012 01:14 PM

Was just thinking this actually, that may be what made her go up there to begin with

my cat went missing on Friday too...she never goes out for long but was gone for a ages...and when she did come back she was in a state and won't go out now...I hate fireworks. :bawling:

Has she come down from the tree?

Jessica. 05-11-2012 10:44 AM

My brother got her down last night after she had been up there for about 36 hours. She sat on the floor cleaning herself for about an hour when she got inside. :joker: She lost a tiny bit of weight but other than that she is still happy and playful despite the trauma she went through. :amazed:
