More Guest Performers Announced

Kelly Clarkson and Only Boys Aloud have joined the line up for the X Factor 2012 final on Saturday and Sunday night.

More than 10,000 fans will be watching the live shows in Manchester, the first time the final has come from outside of London.

Going all out to bring in the viewers, several guest performers have been lined up for the final, headlined by One Direction.

It’ll be the boys’ third appearance on the series this year, showing once again how unimaginative producers are when it comes to picking performers.

Also returning to the stage will be Rhianna and Emeli Sande, who again have already performed on the show this year.

Britain’s Got Talent 2012 finalists Only Boys Aloud will also be performing, ahead of the release of their album.

The Welsh choir group, made up of over 100 men and boys, finished in third place on the show this year and have since been signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label.

Choir member said: Rhys Slade-Jones: “I have to pinch myself.

“We’ve got an album out, we’re doing the X Factor final and we’re touring next year.

“Some of us have been through difficult times and been bullied. This is a safe environment.”

Also performing will be Kylie Minogue and US singer Kelly Clarkson, who will be plugging her greatest hits CD.

However none of the stars will be singing alongside the contestants.

This year, for the second time, the remaining three finalists will be singing with their acts.

Only Boys Aloud? Seriously? Has the show sunk that much?

Who are Only Boys Aloud? It sounds like Lucas' version of Girls Aloud

They were a choir on BGT, so no doubt Cowell is whoring them out, probably signed to Syco

I wonder who will do the duets.. (it's not the mentors doing the duets fgs, Xtra Factor were clearly taking the piss and they kept saying how boring it would be)

Pretty sure I find all the performers confirmed terrible apart from Sande, whome I am bored of.

I'll probably tune in for Kelly Clarkson and then turn it off again.

Much better line-up than last year so far. Besides Coldplay of course.

Sounds like XF has been pretty stale this year and finishing off being stale.

Chris/Only Boys Aloud
James/Rihanna
Jahmene/Emeli Sande

with Kelly and Kylie just promoting new stuff? :shrug:

Kelly Clarkson's good, I've never heard of Only Boys Aloud, and One Direction are ****.

The lineup I would have and it would bring in loads of viewers I bet.

4. Stereophonics
5. The Killers
6. Snow Patrol
7. Leona Lewis
8. Aiden Grimshaw
9. Amelia Lily
10. Tinie Tempah

I know that can't have all of them in the final but it would be great to have any of those on the show as they don't appear on it all the time and are decent acts, plus Aiden needs promotion as his album is really good and they also crapped on him so they need to return the favor.
