You say it like the posters who 'supported' Chris actually believed that :suspect:

Raph 08-12-2012 09:00 PM

The people's choice has fallen

Jake. 08-12-2012 09:00 PM

Ffs might as well end it now then

MeMyselfAndI 08-12-2012 09:02 PM

A really good final 2 from a really awful set of finalists.
I couldn't bring myself to watch this series after Carolynne went, but James & Jahmene were my next faves

Kate! 08-12-2012 09:03 PM

Yes yes yes.

I'm happy now.

Kate, you stood by me as someone sticking up for what is right this year, and agreeing that christopher was terrible

It's a sad night indeed.

Oh well at least we've got James Arthur to stop the Bride Of Chucky.

Jamie585 08-12-2012 09:06 PM

Best Result ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In your face Baloney fans :amazed:

arista 08-12-2012 09:07 PM

Yes King Simon is Happy

Me. I Am Salman 08-12-2012 09:07 PM

Whoever thought this was a **** series, should be gutted that Chris has been eliminated, because it would have been an incentive for Simon to come back and fix things.

Well that's what Jahmene sounds like, and if he wins he'll bomb as he only gets votes due to the sob stories.

How :suspect:

He lasted about 5 weeks longer than even we expected

Vicky. 08-12-2012 09:15 PM

Tbf, he WAS actually the publics choice though. He was the only one that the public picked.

I cant believe he lasted this long actually. 3rd is not to be sniffed at really, especially for someone who appeared so unpopular

No it is the sob stories, that's why everytime it seems like his going to be in a bit of danger they give out some more details of his trauma as a child.

He's never been in the bottom 2, And tbh I've never heard him sing out of tune, whereas Christopher has one on a regular basis.

That's true actually.:joker:

At least I hate someone that screechies through every good song known to mankind, unlike with Christopher who's got a decent voice but is cheesy.

His never been in the bottom two due to the sob stories and pimp time slots, and fair enough if you like screechy singing and a poor man's Paije Richardson, but I will not allow the judges to swing my opinion on Jahmene because of some trauma he had when he was a child.

Jahmene would still be here without the 'sob stories' He's pure talent!

Mystic Mock 08-12-2012 09:30 PM

Jahmene would have gone by week 6 if it wasn't for the sob stories I bet.

Well that was me being generous as those type of acts that are normally better than Jahmene do not take off on The X Factor, so without the sob stories I do think at max Jahmene would have lasted till about week 6, and at worst I think week 4.

Roy Mars III 08-12-2012 09:44 PM

Everyone knows Chris was the real winner.

a good point, Mock

Mrluvaluva 08-12-2012 09:50 PM

Thank god he has gone. I just cannot see the bigger picture with him like I can with Jahmene or James.

Nope he got 3rd, therefore wasn't the real winner

Mystic Mock 08-12-2012 09:54 PM

Would've been 2nd if it wasn't for Jahmene's sob story.

Brother Leon 08-12-2012 09:55 PM

He reached 3rd and avoided the bottom two until the final..all this as a wildcard who is apparently nt very good.

I'll take that

James topped the votes tonight though if any year has gone by when the final 3 happens.

Also James has got to the final with no pimp slot, no sob story apart from tonight, not as much limelight given to him as much as Jahmene's been given off the judges, the judges even try and convince James fans not to vote for James Arthur because he'll be more successful after the show but never say the same thing for Jahmene yet his meant to be brilliant so he'll get a recording contract anyway, right?

A lot of people hate sob stories, so that can actually also go against them. Some people can remain focused on what actually matters.
