The only relevant TiBB question.....

...on season or off season....which do you prefer...?...

mizzy25 28-12-2012 08:04 AM

on season is very very busy infact sometimes too busy, off season can sometimes b a bit boring though so prob on season

AnnieK 28-12-2012 08:12 AM

Having only joined in the middle of "on-season" and so not knowing anyone I have enjoyed ""off-season" with getting to know the die hard TiBBers a little better.

...I think a lot of us joined 'on season' because of our love of BB..I found it quite daunting to move onto the main forum....

AnnieK 28-12-2012 08:26 AM

I found it very daunting too Ammi, I spent most of the time deleting what I was going to post before posting and then checking back every 2 minutes to make sure no-one questioned what I had posted or took offence

Gordan Bennett 28-12-2012 08:28 AM

It is only a forum.

If you are bothered what people think of you on here then real life will be a massive shock to the system.

I am quite aware what real life is like thanks, I am no kid.....I happen to care what people think of me and feel this kind of media is very easy to misunderstand context of posts etc...if wanting people to "get" the real me is a bad thing then hey ho....

..yeah, I was a bit like that as well Annie...grammar and spelling seemed important as well, whereas now I'm dreadful...this was the first forum I joined so I wasn't familiar with 'forum life' at all...it took me a long time to chat to people...

..I would say that you have 'fitted in' beautifully though, so i hope you don't still find it daunting...

Off season has been great

LemonJam 28-12-2012 09:18 AM

off season >

Kizzy 28-12-2012 09:37 AM

Off season, and I have never and will never try to 'fit in'.
There's a nice mix on here, it's a nice forum on the whole.

Jesus. 28-12-2012 09:39 AM

Off season, as you can get on and post without it taking 3 hours.

MTVN 28-12-2012 09:40 AM

On season, always nice and busy and it's quite good having a greater number and variety of members, depends how much I get into the BB series that's on at the time though

thesheriff443 28-12-2012 09:49 AM

off season you get to know member's better and bond with them!,
as i have had a lot of experience of the big brother roller coaster with audition's i just came on and started posting.

Apple202 28-12-2012 10:58 AM

On season

Josy 28-12-2012 11:00 AM

On season

reece(: 28-12-2012 11:46 AM

On season, lots of people I like are around then

Niall 28-12-2012 11:48 AM

I hate on season. That's mainly because I've stopped watching Big Brother, so the insane amount of threads about it that start clogging up new posts really gets on my nerves.

Off season >

Black Dagger 28-12-2012 11:51 AM

I'd say off but it was dead really this season.

Be nice for it to be busy again from next week.

MeMyselfAndI 28-12-2012 11:53 AM

On season, off season is deserted. Some good members came from the last on season, so hopefully some more come this time

Saph 28-12-2012 11:54 AM

I like both, off season is nice, but it drags on sometimes, especially from sep-jan

On

And it takes so long to comment, that in episode discussion you end up seeing things written about events that happened 10 mins ago. It's horrible.

Although I don't watch that much BB anymore.

Same here. I have gone from one extreme to the other, from ardent fan to couldn't give much of a hoot now. Prefer reading the forums, they are much more fun and far wittier than any BB contestants I remember, and the by shows.

Maia 28-12-2012 12:46 PM

First time I've ever seen more people say they prefer on season

Personally prefer on-season as well myself due to how active it is and you don't end up with it going dead at times like during off-season, although like MTVN said it depends on how much I've gotten into the series, if I hate the series I usually just want on-season to hurry up and go away

Me. I Am Salman 28-12-2012 12:57 PM

On season

Jords 28-12-2012 12:57 PM

Always something to talk about, and loads of crazy newbies

Black Dagger 28-12-2012 01:02 PM

Yeah some decent 2013 newbies would be nice.

joeysteele 28-12-2012 01:13 PM

Both for me, on season is hectic but all that goes on is great fun even though it's hard to keep up with everything.
Off season makes for more time for discussion and chatting more to those you wish to.

Glenn. 28-12-2012 02:01 PM

Off season>>>

The only good thing about on season is that it brings a few decent new members that stick around after a series has ended.

I don't watch BB "live" I record it and watch it the day after.

oh that good so you you don't have the adverts

Shaun 28-12-2012 02:07 PM

It's only really been dead the past fortnight and that's because everyone's home for the holidays and not really bothered about taking part in forum discussion. Prior to that it was really active, and loads of games were going on.

I'm bored of seeing the same members support the same types of housemates, and the same arguments. The members that come back for on-season are usually the worst, too. Off-season >

King Gizzard 28-12-2012 04:03 PM

off

on season for mods is suicide inducing

King Gizzard 28-12-2012 04:05 PM

That and how annoying it is that 80% of the forum thinks constant fighting and bitching makes a good show, and always support the female HM's even though most of them are rubbish

Aaron had like about 60% of the whole forums support out of 15 housemates, Michael Madsen was very popular too

I know what you mean by 'lets support the vile bitches because its so sassy x' though
