Paula Has Another Breakdown

'Celebrity Big Brother 2013 housemate Paula Hamilton had yet another breakdown in the house last night.

The wacky model previously failed psychology tests to get onto the show when it was on Channel 4, but Channel 5 bosses have let the model on.

But the decision was criticised by the show’s former medical team and it appears as though their fears have been proved right.

Last night saw Paula attack the diary room door and leave the other housemates concerned after she demanded to be let out.

Paula, who faces eviction tonight, screamed: “Get me a straitjacket and take me out of here!”

The cause of Paula’s latest breakdown was Big Brother’s stirring in his latest task.

With Heidi in the Diary Room, Paula had to guess which facts about the other housemates were true.

And BB asked: “Who said Paula thinks she has always done something better than everyone else?”

The fact that some of her fellow housemates were bitching about her didn’t please Paula, who demanded to be immediately released from the Diary Room.

She told Big Brother: “Open the door now or I will kick it down and you’ll have to call the police. Open it! You’re all liars. I hope I’m out of here. Have me evicted! You can throw me out! I wanna go!

“Get me a straitjacket and take me out of here!”

The original remark came from Gillian, who said: “They’ve put my life in jeopardy.”

A spokesperson for the show said they “had no reason to intervene” during the row.

Big Brother have caused this. They're trying to save Speidi. :bored:

Josy 09-01-2013 09:36 AM

She would be the best one to be evicted, for her own sanity.

I don't find someone whos clearly borderline mental entertaining tv infact I think it's uncomfortable to watch.

Jake. 09-01-2013 09:37 AM

Must have been so awkward for Heidi :joker:

Not really, they always do tasks like this.

Yeah but they always do tasks like this where they reveal what people have been saying...Paula is just not handling the experience well. I actually feel really sorry for her too, she clearly was not equipped for the show, hence why she never made it on to the Channel 4 show....

But they know she's fragile at the moment. :(

Lee. 09-01-2013 09:43 AM

I actually like Paula, but for her own sake, I hope she goes tonight. (it pains me to say that btw as I cannot stand Speidi!)

Me. I Am Salman 09-01-2013 10:04 AM

Those ****ing Loose Women and Rylan are to blame, they're all bullies.

They're always talking about her behind her back. They don't have the courage to tell her to her face. :nono:

Oh, Claire and Gillian are bullies are they? I love Paula but it's not down to them that she's an un-stable wreck.

They're not bullies, but they do talk behind her back a lot.

From what I've seen, they've done it once of twice. It's not like they are constantly doing it, Speidi where talking about Rylan behind his back for a long time and vice versa, it doesn't mean anything, it's just what people do.

Livia 09-01-2013 10:20 AM

I thought Paula was having one looooooooong breakdown.

I know, but Paula is more fragile. She takes offence very easily.

Lee. 09-01-2013 10:21 AM

I thought she took being nominated really well

In that case then she really shouldn't be in there....this is not me calling her or anything but I am actually worried about her mental health and the effect that this could have on her long term if she is that fragile......

Sorry Lee, but i disagree. She took it very badly. She threatened to leave and had a huge meltdown.

It will be. BB want Speidi to stay. :bored:

Kazanne 09-01-2013 10:34 AM

I want Paula to stay for my entertainment BUT I want her to go for her well being, she clearly cannot handle it too well and needs some kind of help,so I hope she goes tonight, but I will miss her she has been great viewing, but for all the wrong reasons.

Big Brother are making things worse with their stirring. :nono:

Kizzy 09-01-2013 10:42 AM

Maybe BB have stopped trying to force situations that encourage people to have sex? They are now concentrating on making hm's with preexisting mental health conditions hurt themselves or others....

Livia 09-01-2013 10:49 AM

It is Big Brother... it's not Social Services. It's being made out like Paula's been coerced into the house against her will for our entertainment, not that she's being paid a bundle because she's a media professional with an agent.

Kizzy 09-01-2013 11:13 AM

I am well aware it is big brother, the decision was ill advised.
I would say that she has been exploited, who cares about how this may affect her though eh? As long as it gives those who perceive themselves as 'normal' a giggle.
They seem to be getting their moneys worth out of her, I bet they are elated.

Livia 09-01-2013 11:34 AM

Oh boo freakin' hoo. As far as I know she's an adult, not sectioned or otherwise restricted so you have to assume she's mentally capable - unless you know something we all don't know. She's a bit wacky after years of drink and drugs abuse. So what... I'm sure she'd be mortified to read all the amateur psychologists pronouncing her non compos mentis.

I'm pretty sure she'll get a lot more votes when people see she's having break downs. Most people won't be as nice to not vote her for her own good and will want to see her suffer and become more crazy.

Poor Paula! I hope she survives eviction. Maybe then she'll feel better. :(

Sophiee 09-01-2013 12:35 PM

even if she survived this eviction, there's a high chance of her walking or being removed from the house anyway, she appears very unstable.

I agree Josy, it's not entertaining watching someone who may be that far gone, although in Paula's case, I get the feeling she plays on stuff for effect. I hope she is evicted today.
