Best part about a fried brekkie?

Wait for my poll.

AnnieK 03-02-2013 05:33 AM

Eggs

Sausages :worship:

SharkAttack 03-02-2013 05:45 AM

There are at least 7 things on that list that go together for the perfect brekky, so it's impossible to choose only one, Ben. :nono: :joker:

Glenn. 03-02-2013 05:47 AM

He's being deliberately awkward.

Could of been a multiple choice poll at least :idc:

..what's your typical American breakfast SharkAttack..?...

Shaun 03-02-2013 08:20 AM

i generally just make scrambled eggs and toast, so eggs all the way...

I'm not a huge fry-up fan... I'm quite fussy... I only like bacon, eggs, sausages, fried bread and hash browns from that list.

Omah 03-02-2013 08:47 AM

Start the day with a proper breakfast .....

Consisting of a dozen sausages, 12 bacon rashers and enough eggs to be produced from a coop of chickens in a week, Jesters Diner's fry-up in Great Yarmouth contains more than 6,000 calories and weighs in at 9lb (4.08kg).

But despite hundreds being sold after it was first put on the menu 18 months ago, only one man has managed to eat "the baby".

I like eggs

..the only thing I really like from that list is probably 'other'...

Will usually skip brekky altogether, Ammi, but, having a slice of toast, coffee and a tea , and something fruit worthy, is very nice. Toss in a digestive from time to time if they can be found, and some vits(because, yes, I am getting old and enjoy the vits, damnit.) :)

That's it. And I've just bored myself and friends to sleep... http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/p.../sleep-040.gif

:joker:  Night, Ammi!

Having said all of that, it would be nice to know what you like to have for brekky, other than "other." ;)

Josy 03-02-2013 11:02 AM

Mushrooms & Hash Browns

..ahh, that sounds more like my kind of breakfast and not boring at all....

....on weekdays I would have a coffee (decaf), yoghurt, piece of fruit and orange juice...at weekends I may throw in some toast and marmalade or a croissant if I feel like pushing the boat out...I have even been known to have muesli sometimes....:amazed:...

...night SharkAttack..sleep well in your upside down timezone...

It's disgusting, why would anyone order that?

I have ticked bacon as I don't eat it anymore, but it's the one thing I miss.
The eggs toast and toms sound nice.

Fresh tomatoes >>>>>>>>> tinned tomatoes :hmph:

The only superior thing about tinned tomatoes on a fried breckie is dipping your toast in the juice.

Marcus. 03-02-2013 12:57 PM

Fried Toast

Grill it? And the point of a health kick is to improve your life, but life without bacon is not worth living.

InOne 03-02-2013 01:15 PM

Runny egg mixed with the butter and tomato sauce.

Stu 03-02-2013 01:22 PM

Why would it be anything other than bacon? :suspect:

The options really should be just 'fried bacon' or 'grilled bacon'.

Alf 03-02-2013 02:56 PM

I'll have 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 black pudding, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, bubble + squeek, tomato, fried bread and a cup of tea

Patrick 03-02-2013 03:01 PM

Potato Bread from an Ulster Fry, something you left out :suspect:

Other than that - Mushrooms.

LemonJam 03-02-2013 03:09 PM

There is nothing like a fry up. Genuinely went through a week of eating one once sometimes twice a day.

It's gotta be egg though

Munchkins 03-02-2013 03:15 PM

Yoghurt, yes! I knew I was forgetting something. OK, we're on the same path then.

GypsyGoth 03-02-2013 09:39 PM

None of it. I'd much prefer cereal.

Niall 03-02-2013 09:47 PM

Bacon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Redway 03-02-2013 10:04 PM

Mushrooms, Sausages and Baked Beans.

Seldom ever happens though. As Claudia said, I'd much rather just have some cereal or toast and butter.

Um, excuse me. The tomatoes :nono:.
Fruit for breakfast? Not in my America.
