Do you remove your shoes at the front/back door?

If you have your own house do you ask people to remove their shoes before they enter?

no one else does though

sometimes, our floors are usually filthy because of our muddy dog anyway so theres not much point

um we do, but I don't enforce guests do. My mother does, even provides slippers for guests... lol

I always take my shoes off when I get home, not at the door though just because I don't feel comfortable until my shoes are off, I don't ask people to take their shoes off either lol

I take mine off but no one else does....it's a comfort thing though....

...pretty much this..I never wear shoes in the house but wouldn't expect people to take them off, if they didn't feel comfortable doing so...some people do and some don't...

I don't have any rules, as i don't have carpets. As soon as I'm home, I like to go barefoot as soon as possible. I'm not really that keen on having things on my feet.

My carpet cost me £1400. People take their shoes off when they enter my house.

I even have to put knickers on my dog when she's in season because she bleeds everywhere.

I wear sandals and have filthy feet. If someone asks me to take off my shoes, i'm like really? have you seen my feet?

wait... dogs have a period?? why is this the first i'm hearing about this. So people with female dogs have dog period blood as like a problem in their lives?

just to clarify though, you're saying that people with female dogs, like their dogs leak blood out of their vaginas once a month?

Why would anyone get a female dog then?

My dog has severe periods. Literally when she's in season my kitchen floor looks like a slaughter house.

My nans bitch doesn't bleed like mine does.

She's only in season every six months or so. It's not a monthly thing :laugh:

No and No, Everyone just takes them off because its more comfortable but we dont have to. We have wooden floors downstairs anyway

I just remove my shoes whenever I get the chance once in the house, front or back door.

Don't ask others to remove their shoes, only to do so if they decide to tuck their feet up on the furniture. A house is to be lived in not a showhouse, and visitors and family shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable but welcome imo.

We keep the shoes at the back of the house so we take them off just not at the front door. We don't make other people do it though, unless they want to.

Always take my shoes off, comfy. We used to ask when carpets were new but now cbaaa

No and I've tried to get her spade but the vets won't touch her because she's on the heavy side.

I only go in the back-way because I've lost my front door key, so I take em off in the dining room (it's just an empty room tbqfh)

no i have 3 dogs that live indoors so my carpets r not exactly spotless. i have my trainers on upstairs after my 1st morning walk coz its pointless taking them off when ive got to back out in half an hour, i like to pop on the pc b4 i do another walk.

I got my dog black knickers to go with her fur
