Plenty celebs avoid paparazzi and stay private, so it is possible. It's always the attention seekers that play the "Paparazzi are ruining my life" cards.

I agree however that these paparazzi are a menace at times, especially at times you are heading to,or are reaching, a low point physically and/or mentally.

Watching him last Wednesday Joey I did think blimey that is a strenuous routine and to do that EVERY night for weeks really MUST impact on the body and then to have cameras shoved in your face must be annoying,he is young and needs proper guidance,otherwise he will burn himself out.
