Do you have an electric blanket on your bed? :idc:

Munchkins 10-03-2013 01:41 AM

Yeah i couldn't live without it, ITS LUSH

Jesus. 10-03-2013 01:42 AM

Josy 10-03-2013 01:42 AM

We have all these things plus an underblanket but electric blankets are the best thing ever.

Jords 10-03-2013 01:43 AM

No really needed. Best thing about getting in bed is being cold and warming up in the duvet

Oh no I hate a cold bed, it's great just getting in and it's all warm n cosy.

Glenn. 10-03-2013 01:46 AM

No I heard a terrible rumour that a woman was burnt to death when her electric blanket caught fire.

Kizzy 10-03-2013 01:46 AM

I used to have a foot warmer... but it left me for some slut

I can't be too warm or it's impossible to sleep. I have my bedroom window open pretty much all year round.

Her husband standing over her with a bucket of water, had nothing to do with it!

This.

It's the worst thing ever to be too warm in bed.

King Gizzard 10-03-2013 01:56 AM

I am actually a freak you probably guessed this beforehand

but I don't get cold..probably still feel alright if I sat in a Fridge for a couple of hours

Benjamin 10-03-2013 01:57 AM

oh me too, cant stand being too hot

Ramsay 10-03-2013 02:07 AM

electric blankets are one of the greatest inventions made ever

MTVN 10-03-2013 02:52 AM

Don't have one but whenever I go to my Granny's she always has an electric blanket on the bed, highlight of my visits there tbh

On a related note I remember an episode of Fireman Sam where Norman leaves his blanket on and it starts a fire, so yes be careful with them

Ammi 10-03-2013 04:12 AM

..I've never liked the idea of being plugged in when you're asleep..it seems a bit dangerous..it's probably not but it just seems an odd thing to me..

AnnieK 10-03-2013 05:52 AM

I don't have one but when we used to stay at my Nans as kids that is what I remember. She had no central heating so she had to put one on as it was cold in her back bedroom the be felt wet. She turned it off when we went to bed though as the old types were dangerous to sleep on when turned on (we only found this out after we had slept with it on loads f times) She also used to have an old style lava lamp that was found to have something in that caused cancer!!! Thinking about it now I don't think she liked us much LOL.

Cherie 10-03-2013 09:03 AM

ew dont like the idea of electric blankets, for me they sound like a breeding ground for germs, nice cool cotton sheets and warm up in bed bliss.

Marc 10-03-2013 09:25 AM

I generate my own heat thank you very much.

I'd sweat loads if I had one. I like to sleep with the window open, me

sooty 10-03-2013 10:49 AM

I can't live without it.
Of course I switch it off before going to bed.

Listening to "Sailing By" and inside this warm bed is Paradise.

I don't have an electric blanket, I do have an electric quilt.

I do like to be toasty cosy in bed in the Winter, although I love the cold Winter weather, I do like snuggling up under the quilt all cosy :)

Yes that's what it is, it's thin so you don't feel weighted down by it, and it warms the bed up lovely. I leave it on once in bed, then switch it to go off after a certain time so's I don't fall asleep with it on. I can't sleep if I am too cold in bed, so I love my electric Quilt/Duvet.

Kazanne 10-03-2013 12:09 PM

NO,just NO:hugesmile: I always get too hot in bed anywayhttp://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...eebyaxshp3.gif
